Clean and tidy spot with a great menu/prices. Sam was super cool and the produce specifically was top notch!

Edible, cheap, and open early and that's where the positives end. The food is terrible. I got a bagel and a pastrami sandwich here the other day when I had to leave super early in the morning and it was the only place open. I will say the coffee is decent but it's not worth going out of your way for it.
Neither of my items (the bagel or the sandwich) were anything to write home about. They were both fine. Process of ordering sandwiches on seamless is a bit confusing - there's no clear way to add cheese or additional toppings so I ended up writing my cheese in the description.
Service was nice but I was harassed by a homeless woman asking for money inside.
All in all I would maybe go back if I needed food early before anything else opened.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Igrayne S.New York, NY01Oct 9, 2023

Finest is a lie, or at least an insult to the West Village. We ordered a grilled portobello sandwich, and it was without a doubt one of the worst sandwiches I have ever had. It was not a Portabella mushroom. It was a handful of white mushrooms. It was on a piece of wheat bread, unlike the focaccia in the illustration. It wasn't grilled, it may have been steamed. Amazingly, it was utterly tasteless.
I can say it was made quickly, and it wasn't horribly expensive, but it definitely was not worth it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jacob H.Manhattan, New York, NY32852Mar 2, 2023
Very solid neighborhood deli. Always well stocked with a variety of convenience goods, in addition to a hot grille manned by friendly ("New York Friendly") chefs that make your food in short order. Reasonably-priced, and has remained reasonably inexpensive despite ongoing inflation.

This place caught my eye a couple weeks ago when I was walking on 7th, finally a deli close to home!
The guys working were super nice. Price was good $11 (made my own sandwich & got a bag of chips) . My sandwich definitely hit the spot - fresh bread, turkey, bacon, provolone, the works.
Place is so bright and clean. Will definitely be coming back! I can tell by the bacon, they probably have good breakfast.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Nov 19, 2019
Great deli with a large selection of lunch, breakfast, and pastry options. Staff are very friendly. I've had their coffee many times. It's strong and only $1.25 per cup. I've also ordered a Pastrami Panini for lunch. Not my lunch of choice for $10, but it comes with pickles, chips, and it was delicious. Prices are on par with other eateries in this area so I can't complain.
Great option for to pick up a quick breakfast or lunch.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anastasia C.Philadelphia, PA0571Mar 26, 2022
Unfortunately after shopping here for a while will have to stop coming , this morning the guy working at the register wanted to charge me 1.75 for ONE banana because they only had one left I said excuse me ? Because I truly believed I heard him wrong, they are usually .50 but for one I will get ripped off like that ? I left it and do not plan on coming back with their ridiculous attitude and prices. I usually come here for the bananas and sandwiches nope not anymore do not come here they are abusive and ridiculously overpriced.

Another local business here in the West Village about four years has succumbed to price gouging with the owner stating 'oh, everything is going up!' Well, today's quart of milk costing me $3.99 here will be my swan song at this current symbol of thievery. When I asked about a deli item that cost me $3.50 in November 2021 and is now $5.00 the owner gave me the same ol' b.s. about 'everything is high now'.
