The Russian Reuben

Came here for the piroshkis and pelmenis and they didn't disappoint!
Service was super friendly, they explained their full menu and was very patient with me while I navigated their menu.

There was a bit of a wait for the food to come out, but that seems OK and means the food will be hot and fresh!

A piroshki is basically a fried meat hand pie. Really big and heavy. One was enough for two light eaters to be honest. Crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside.

Their pelmenis were decent, I think I inhaled the whole box of them in 5 minutes!

I can't yet speak for their meals, but the raspberry hand pie grabbed my attention on my way out. It was way bigger than I expected, definitely enough to share. I found the plentiful filling to be tasty & not too sweet. The crust was somewhat tough though, and as it cooled down it became harder to tear through.

The food here is so delicious! I especially love the Reuben, the pastrami is homemade and so flavorful. The owners are such wonderful people and put a lot of care into their food! I highly recommend dining at the Russian Reuben!
