The Pizza Peel

I believe this was the first pizza peel in Charlotte and it's still a wonderful gem! I love the atmosphere and vibe of this location. The servers are always great and the food is always fresh and delicious! Highly recommend the Sweet Thai Pizza!

I received a local gift from a realtor which allowed me to enjoy an 8" pizza with one topping with a voucher code. Of course, I ordered it with bacon! I called in my to go order around 6pm on a Friday night. I was told to it should be ready in 30 mins.

When I arrived for pick up the inside was pretty packed. Even the game room was full with younger kids who were screaming at the top of their lungs from a good time. This restaurant has a very chill family oriented setting.

Apologies I totally forgot to take a pic before devouring my pizza but it was great and I'll be back again to try more items on the menu!

Great local pizza place! They have a variety of other items on the menu too - salads, pasta, sandwiches. The staff is always very friendly. Nice tall wooden booths on the wall. Kids love the little toy claw machines at the front.

My partner picked up our dinner here on Sunday night. It's about a 3 minute walk from my in laws. I ordered their 16 piece chicken wings with Buffalo sauce and an order of Parmesan truffle fries. My partner did a Philly cheesesteak sandwich with their house made chips. The food was delicious, and the portions are decent. I like their house made chips -- it was crispy and golden brown, it could use a tiny bit more seasoning but I'm still happy with it regardless. Everything tasted delicious, so I imagine you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. I'd recommend this location to anyone in the area.

Great pizza spot with a variety of apps, pizzas, salads, sandwiches and more. They offer a gluten free crust, but it is a significant charge (+ $5), and a yummy gluten free chocolate cake.

Order pick up. Host was incredibly friendly and speedy bringing out the food. The pizza was 5/10. The actual flavor combo of the toppings was quite tasty, but the crust was not great at all. Flavorless and had texture like a warm lunchable pizza. If they changed their dough recipe I would give them a second chance. For now, probably will try another place or stick with Dominos. Wolfman around the corner is also subpar.

I had a great time tonight at the Pizza Peel tonight. The food was awesome and the staff was super friendly. Ralph, the manager is a huge Eagles fan and we talked about them stomping the 49ers on Sunday. Great experience over all.

I ordered the Supreme pizza, and although it wasn't terrible, it just doesn't feel like a great value for $27+. The highlight by far was the crust, but the ingredients and cheese just didn't live up to the price point, and didn't present as fresh when I opened the box. I'll probably try a different place in Plaza Midwood the next time I have a hankering for a pizza pie.

Overpriced for average pizza. Ordered theee pizzas for delivery and I won't be going back because better pizza can be found elsewhere.

Had the Kimbo Slice, apples are a great touch, crust is foldable and that is a must with pizza. Bruschetta is awesome and PLENTIFUL.
Service provided Tamerick was Outstanding. I never give 5s as there is no such thing as perfect...but this was very good.
