It's a 1:15 on January Monday. You're mad. For a few reasons. Health complications. Your fiancé won't stop vacillating about the god damn flower wall. You work a dead end job for health insurance where your boss likes to fvck around but you can't make them find out, yet. You're stupid sober for 3 weeks because dry January and it would require a blunt and an act of god to make you smile.
So you sit alone at Table 87 for a $23 calzone because maybe your digestive system can process gluten if the cheese is on the inside instead of the outside and dammit I'm a gambling man.
The dude at the counter says little. Offers a beverage that you decline and 20 minutes later it arrives, sauce in the side with a single basil leaf.
Simple. Clean. Crispy. Dunkable. No words needed needed aside from a crisp wave and a, "thank you, I needed that."
Will definitely have another.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 28, 2024
While there were a ton of different food options at Industry City, we sought here for a simple thin crust slice and they delivered. The thin crust and melty cheese was divine - not to mention the hot oil from the pepperonis and rich earthiness of the basil.

Standards for pizza in NYC are obviously very high, but this place doesn't disappoint! Their pizza is so good and there are lots of different options. It's located in a super cute food court that has such a great ambiance. It's a perfect lunch spot if you work in Industry City.

My friend and I have passed by this place all the time whenever we explored Industry City. Finally today I decided to give it a try. We ordered the wild mushroom & truffle oil 12". It took about 10 minutes til it was ready.
Immediately after opening the box, it looked unappetizing after not a hint of truffle oil either in sight or smell. After trying a bite, there was literally no taste of truffle oil. The only good thing about the pizza was that they used fresh mushrooms and the crust and dough were cooked almost perfectly and had a thin crispy crust. The tomato sauce was okay and the fresh mozzarella was just okay too, got some good cheese pulls. Not worth the $20 spent but it was an okay pizza.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 1, 2022
The guy at the counter is too cool for school? Or is he so nonchalant that he moves in slow motion? Whatever his issue is, he is a turnoff to customers. The 2 guys making the pizza greated the customers with a cheerful hello and appeared to be happy.
I got the burrata slice, even though the counter - cashier guy put it in the oven to heat up it was mildly warm when he pulled it out. The dough was not crispy but floppy. If I closed my eyes and took a bite I would not be able to tell if it had any tomato sauce on it, that's how little flavor it had.
The only saving grace was the burrata and the one piece of basil. There are too many other better food opportunities in Industry City to spend your money at instead of this place.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 31, 2022
Decent pizza. Good cheese pull. Not the best I've had but satisfied the craving. Super greasy. They seem to only have one set of seasonings-so use it and be sure to put it back otherwise you'll be reprimanded by one of the rude employees. :)
Seems cool that you can buy packaged pies and warm them at home.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 70189182Jun 21, 2023
I've tried pizza from MANY places & Table 87 is the real deal. I Can eat 3 Margherita slices in 1 sitting from this place. I Love their pizza with my whole heart. It's made with love and fresh ingredients. Coal fired ? Count me in

Floppy slice , undercarriage looks good but taste like it's been left out all day for $5 a slice I would have to rate this the worst ever slice ever btw I got a plain slice i wouldn't recommend this to anyone there's way better options in industry city

Came into this nice little pizza shop for a slice and brought a whole pie home for the fam! The cashier recommended buratta cheese as a topping and it did not disappoint. I will definitely come back for some more.

I don't understand the average reviews, this place serves a perfect slice and if you want a whole pie it's even better! On draft beer, $27 per jug, coal fired oven, fresh mozzarella, basil, boom. I usually grab a slice straight away for breakfast, the crust is thin, crispy but with a little softness too. As good as anywhere.
