Sushi House

Food, service and place was great. It is a hole in a wall that is worth your visit. My wife and I enjoyed the food and service we received dining in. It was small, intimate but was ok for us. We had the dumplings, several rolls that did not disappoint.

The rolls were pretty good but I noticed every item I ordered was overly sweet. The quality of the fish on my nigiri was good but the rice it came on was too sweet so I peeled the fish off. Same with the rolls, anything in eel sauce was way too sweet and in general there was too much sauce (crazy girl roll and incredible roll). Personally I would recommend rolls where the fish is able to shine more like the Yulee role but again, something was off about their rice (it reminds me of grocery store quality). They gave me a Philly cheese cake on the house (fried appetizer, bit of a misnomer) and it had a really nice crisp to it and of course very much appreciated but again was really sweet.

Best sushi in Fernandina! I've tried different sushi restaurants around Fernandina Beach, but this is by far my favorite spot. They have a variety of fresh, delicious, and unique roles at good prices. Aside from the amazing sushi rolls, the service is great! Our waitress was very kind and even brought us a sample of one of the appetizers when we were having trouble choosing from the list. Highly recommend!

Quaint atmosphere, excellent service and sushi was very good. The portions they serve are enough for 2 people to split. Everyone gets a sushi appetizer.

I ordered the Tampa roll. The fish was merely a speck and cream cheese was abundant. Thought maybe it could have been a fluke so I ordered it again, same configuration. I think the place changed ownership. Definitely not the same as it used to be. I'll have a find a new sushi place.

I really don't understand bad reviews of Sushi House. My husband and I frequently go on "sushi dates" and this is our go-to! Lunch is the best time to go- we get the 2 roll special that comes with soup, salad (I highly recommend the ginger dressing) and a cream cheese roll (I could seriously eat three of those )
Food is always good and Jean is usually our server. I can't recommend them enough!

Our waitress was very nice. The food, was alright. We only came here because we didn't want to wait any longer in the 4 hours traffic and needed to get some food before everything closes.

Had the lunch steak and scallops hibachi, delicious. The scallops were cooked perfect. We also had the tuna poke, also delicious. So glad to find another lunch option when we are off the "island"
