Speedway

I'm actually a big fan of Speedway. If you weren't aware, they recently renovated the place and made it quite a bit nicer on the inside.

The employees are always friendly and after awhile you will get to know them by name. They seem as though they are always happy to answer your questions or help you out.

As you would expect, they have your standard array of gas station "delights." I would say that they have a much bigger selection of candy, chips, soda, and alcohol than most other gas stations do. One thing I really like about this Speedway is the milkshake machine. It actually allows you to blend your own milkshakes. If you're in the mood for a hot food item, go to the front of the store and you will see their "Roller dog" hot dog stand and the warm sandwich stand. If I'm not mistaken, they also have Pizza.

This morning at roughly 10:15 am I was dispatched to this location to retrieve a delivery order for a customer named Stephanie. I arrived a few minutes early and approached the right side of the counter where the employees enter. I waited to be acknowledged for roughly 2 minutes by the 2 women behind the counter. I finally say " I am with DoorDash and I am here to pick up..." and then the women in the neon reflective vest snaps at me "you're just going to have to wait ". So I stand there waiting while noticing the sealed delivery bag no more than 5 feet from me behind the counter. At 1 minute past when the order is promised to be ready I say " may I please have my order?" The woman in the vest becomes irrate. " I told you to wait! I am busy!" And other statements I can't recall. I respond with I did wait. It's late." The other woman behind the counter joins in " you need to unassign yourself from the dash and leave now!" So I get on the phone to report it to DoorDash. While I am on the phone and after about another 5 minutes the woman in the vest comes over and picks up the sealed delivery bag and moves it 5 feet and says" there you go." I do not know why the employees at this location felt it necessary to treat a delivery driver contracted to delivery product from their store to their customer so poorly. Terrible experience just trying to do my job with your company!

I don't know what I've done to these people but twice they've called the cops on me for sitting in my car scratching lottery tickets

Friendly employees. Clean inside. It's a Speedway... Not much more to tell. Oh, and the #1perk there is that they actually have a lotto scratch-off vending machine. (So you are not waiting for the brilliant person at the front of the checkout line to attempt, at their pace, which ones will inevitably win back the small fortune that they have wasted on the losing ones.)

I shouldn't hype this up too much because I don't want the prices to skyrocket. Speedway on State Rd always has the cheapest gas.

I've been to better Speedways. No matter what time of day you go, it's crowded and almost impossible to drive right up to the pump. The amount of people who park at the pump just to go into the store is ridiculous. If there's a long line inside, there's always only one cashier. Not worth the headaches.

The cleanest, most welcoming Speedway anywhere. I know it's just a friggin' gas station, but they treat the customers like family and always keep the lines moving. Great coffee and rewards program. Be warned, weekday mornings this place is packed and busy!

I am here twice a day most days. They know how to get through the line really quickly which is good because since they rebuilt the place it is always packed! Their rewards program is the best one out there. I can almost always guarantee a free drink or candy bar and even a $10 merchandise card sometimes(7500 points.) The fuel is always 10 cents cheaper than the 5 closest gas spots and they do pizza to go for 5$. If you can't find something to rave about here you're lost. There is a lot of competition in the retail gas world and it seems like not much is being done anywhere to make an effort to grab a good share of the market and keep it. This is one franchise that is making and effort. Kudos Speedway.

Best speedway in town. Always 3-4 employees working. These employees work very hard to accommodate everyone's needs. Kudos to all of them. The people that complain couldn't do their job.
