RE : Size & Price of Cake
Picture it : Sicily 1942
Long ago someone's Nonna bakes a cake so sweet, so sublime, that future generations will recreate the recipe. This includes the bakers at Slice of Italy. They use carrots and cream cheese to capture the taste of the cake that effectively ended WW2. (Carrot cake $5.99) The cake is so beautiful, so perfect that it's served in miniscule, wafer thin slices. Why so much for so little? Could it be greed? Your guess is as good as mine because the sacred cake is no longer made the old way; with chopped walnuts from the middle east and pulverized Angel wings. Only the fine bakers from Slice of Italy know for sure.
As we all know, tiramisu ($7.99) was created by Niccola Machiavelli in 1523 after coffee was first introduced to the Florentine's (no, not really). It's a dessert so unique, so delectable, that it's said it was created by Lucifer himself to test us. So eat your fill (AKA tiny, piccolo slices) of carrot cake and tiramisu from Slice of Italy in Kent, WA. The prices and portion sizes are a testament to the fact that we clearly don't deserve cake. Slice of Italy makes the prices so prohibitive that we can't afford it anyway.

Such a fun pizza spot! They have interesting pizzas (we tried a Paneer Tikka pizza, "once in a blue moon," "three peppers and a chicken," etc. The other fun thing is that they offer "Hodor"-sized pizzas. They are truly gigantic. :-) Definitely check this place out!

Sure. I ordered a medium Pizza with chicken tikka and artichoke hearts. I realize that food and labor costs are going up.. however there were minuscule amounts of each ingredient on the pizza. You folks must have put in 5 to 10 pieces of each ingredient which shrunk to the size of a pellet... If that big.
There was virtually no taste of either ingredient because you folks want to put almost no ingredients on the pizza. If it cost more to put a pizza together where you can actually taste the ingredients.. that is fine.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Phil B.Maple Valley, WA26Sep 9, 2023
Pizza looked like it was reheated and not fresh. You could see there was older cheese and they tried to mask it with a few shreds of mozzarella.
Would not recommend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 7, 2021
This is a no judgement zone... Right? Okay, good.
So, a couple weekends ago I had a little too much wine. It happens. But the thing is, if I have a DROP of alcohol, I'm convinced I need to order food. But, when it's Sunday at 1 am, there's not many options. Imagine my absolute JOY that Slice of Italy was open when I needed them!
I ordered their cheese bread and pepperoni pizza with cheese stuffed crust. HEALTH. And lemme tell you, it was fantastic. So good. Maybe it was the wine talking, but in that moment, it was the best pizza I think I've ever had. Seriously!
Delicious pizza, decent prices, and open late every day. There's literally nothing to complain about.Helpful 18Thanks 0Love this 25Oh no 0 - Laquinaca A.Kent, WA063Dec 26, 2023
Food was disappointing. Ordered the chicken Alfredo came out so dried and burnt, no chicken, tasted so artificial. Also ordered the triple pepperoni pizza too oily. Ordered the wings and they came out so raw, dry, not cooked all the way it was terrible to be honest . I wanted to try this place out due to door dashing and I honestly would not recommend. Would not be a customer to this place

Absolutely terrible pizza, of that's what we're calling it. The place looks likens laundromat and your pizza or by the slice will literally take like 45 minutes if you're in there. And the dude behind the counter helped two people in front of me then helped me and never changed his gloves! The pizza was hard as a rock and idk what else to say, except SAVE YOUR MONEY.

This calzone is my go-to from anywhere. It's absolutely huge and full of ingredients. It's about the size of a large pizza folded in half and has never been soggy. It's enough food for 3 people easily! Original Philly Cheese with Italian dressing inside. You can pick your sauce inside, too. You cannot go wrong with a calzone from this place. Best bang for your buck!

Baked Ziti, Salad and New York Cheesecake. All were amazing. Thank you for giving me home cooked food when I was not feeling well.
And you all know how to tie a plastic bag so someone who has lived in Japan knows how to open it!
Only thing missing would be a side of garlic bread but I am good.
