Round Table Pizza

A childhood favorite and I still love a Round Table pizza.

My favorite is mushroom and sausage. Then ham and pineapple.

I also love their salad bar for the lunch special.

Growing up in Palo Alto (and Mountain View) , I recall seeing this when turnping from Middlefield Rd to Colorado. My parents were never pizza ppl so we never went there. Present day, I decided to check out with family, since my aunt and uncle still live in the neighborhood.

It is it's own building next to 7-11 and a Safeway is behind it, Walked in and was greeted with an employee behind the register standing in silence. No greeting such as a "Hi" or "Hello" but just a stare.

Moving forwzrd, order was placed. We had to repeat a couple of times (as it was kitchen fan loud). After paying, we found a table in a room with several tables and a TV. The room was good for a group and big family or several groups. A little claustrophobic but manageable. After maybe 15-20 minutes, order was walked to the table. After he left, i went to cashier and asked for Black pepper at the cashier area, as no condiments were on the table, except for a napkin dispenser. I was told they dont have black pepper. WHAT? no black pepper. is their a shortage I didn't hear. The staff person was so blunt that I felt I did something strange. I like to add black pepper on my salad and a whisper on my pizza slice.

Also, please don't wait for a customer to ask twice to refill a salad bar item. We asked once as soon as we realized it needed to be refilled. and they said OK. Then when the guy dropped off the pizza, we had to ask again. The table next to us even said they didn't have rice I didn't even know rice was an option on the salad bar but the customer told her daughter they are not having rice offered so I don't know if it's a common item or an item they did not want to refill at the salad bar. But someone can let me know, and I will adjust or update my review if rice is a common item on their salad bar..

Pizza looked good, but taste left us all thinking it tasted strange. Can't put our finger on it but it left us contemplating if a second slice was in our future. I turned to my salad and ended up treating as my main meal. Since pizza was getting cold and no one took a slice, I packed the rest in a pizza box (as I thought maybe my taste buds were not up to par) Funny thing was the fact that none of us mentioned the odd tasting pizza until we jumped into the vehicle. We all shared the odd taste, but didn't want to say at the table, but we had a loud sharing moment as we drove.

It was just a discounting moment for us. More disappointing for me since I was excited to return to my old neighborhood and enjoy dinner, but it was just not in the cards :(

Ps. I was also charged twice. the guy said it didn't go through so "do it again" and then saw 2 charges when I got home, for the same exact amount, one minute apart. The incident was reported to my bank.

Ordered a lot of pizza for the office for Pi Day and I goofed up and had to decrease the amount the day before and the manager John was super helpful in changing my order for me and following up.

They delivered the pizza on time and even included lots of cheese, peppers, plates, and napkins. The sides of ranch was a great surprise and everyone had a full belly with fresh hot pizza!

This place is a really small place. It's next to a 711 next door. I thought I was going to have a great tasting pizza that day I walked in there. Um... it didn't turned out the way I expected. It just didn't taste right for some reason and the bbq ranch sauce was so over powering that I couldn't even taste the other toppings on the pizza. I should've went to the 711 and snacked on some hotdogs rather than the pizza I had.

This place got taken over sometime post-COVID, then remodeled in 2023. With the changes came a new set of pros and cons.

On the plus side, they seem to make pizzas and fulfill orders competently. Service is prompt and more polite than before.

The main minus is that stinginess pervades every aspect of their operations. Compared to any other Round Table, you'll notice a 30-40% reduction in the amount of cheese, toppings, and even dough on every pizza that comes out of their oven. (Since they charge $29+tax for a basic Large, I'm pretty sure they can afford the cost of raw materials.) They don't even keep ice in their soda machine. These guys work extra hard at being cheap.

The remodel is also a bit awkward, with a huge wall bisecting the dining room that makes both halves a bit claustrophobic, a bizarre mix of clashing colors, and four TVs all playing different things, making for an audio sensory overload.

Pizza quality; same great quality spicy red pizza sauce. Great sausage, pepperoni, toppings excellent!!

Sadly the pizza crust flavor is only fair...nothing special and the pan crust tastes bitter and almost like a sourdough which we do not like at all. Crust matters.

Also staff is very friendly and nice, all men it seems(?), however some of the staff is very hard to understand because of their accent - and they seem to make little to no effort to speak slowly so that they can be understood which is stressful. If we order again we shall do so online and have it delivered rather than dine in or pickup so to avoid dealing with them on the phone or in person.

Order called in and ready in estimated time. It was tasty but pricey. $55 plus for 2 takeout medium pizzas. When I asked on the phone I was told they did not have sit down dining but on arrival the restaurant was open with plenty of open tables. Puzzling.

Wow !!! New Look is Amazing. Amazing Staff & Service. Did a Pizza catering for my kids 10th Birthday. Everyone loved it. Fresh Salads and Twists were top notch.

I used to come here ever since I was a child and I always love their pizza. Their fresh pizza just out of the oven tasted better than any pizza I've ever had before. They have just recently added freshly made cookies to their menu and they are REALLY good. Just recently, they have remodeled their store and the place looks very high end and modern. On top of that, they have amazing service. All the employees were very welcoming and friendly to me when I walked into the store.

Roundtable pizza , a food chain of pizza store has remodeled with their fantastic dining place which I liked the most. I visited with my friends for having a lunch there , we ordered bbq chicken pizza as well as boneless wings which has the great quality . Last but not the least there all crews are fantastic and cooperative.
