Q:
Are the fries gluten free?
A:
Yes- all fries and the zucchini haystack are gluten free. They're fried in a separate fryer with no cross contamination risk.

A friend recommended we stop in. As we walked along the hilly streets it blended in with the housing. Had to do a double take to make sure we were going the right way. At last! We made it.
Well organized and clean. Had a sort of modern mason jars and milk tins vibe. Friendly service welcomed us as we ordered. The day was too beautiful to sit indoors. Opted for the patio tables outside to enjoy the sun and gentle breeze.
Uh ya.. this place is really good! Perfectly toasted bun with those airy pops of sesame. Melty cheese and caramelized onions. The arugula gave a balance of earthy pepper. Burger was not over cooked had a nice char still holding the juices. The onion zucchini haystacks were addicting. So light it sort of melts in your mouth.
Will definitely make this a regular stop when in San Francisco. First visit success!Helpful 46Thanks 13Love this 40Oh no 0 - Apr 13, 2024
Definitely one of my favorite burger spots. I always get their blue cheese burger and it hits the spot! Recently they've had like malt and vinegar fries and these are the best fries I've ever had omg. Also paired with some aioli it's really amazing!
We ordered inside for dinner and sat and got a beer while waiting. The service was great and everyone was nice. It didn't take to long to make either! Also seems like a great spot to grab a beer and watch some sportsHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 5, 2024
Service was quick, attentive and friendly. Noticing that I am injured and with limited mobility, the guy at the front promptly greeted me, sat me at a table instead of having me wait to order standing in line as is customary.
I came for the burgers but seriously was impressed by their Brussel sprouts. They sautee them in what I suspect is soy sauce, red wine vinegar and garlic. So fucking bomb! The sweet potato fries were not too salty and seasoned with fresh parsley. The ranch dip is a must & clearly made in house.
As for the burgers. I got the Pacific Bleu & my lady got a Classic to get a baseline. They may look small in pictures and in your hands, but man do they pack a punch. Real angus beef. Real fresh ingredients. You know when you take a bite and the lettuce is so crisp that it crunches? Yeah, it was like that, but with melty cheese and meat juice dripping. Mmmm...Yummy. As a blue cheese lover, I wish the cheese was a bit more pungent to really give it that kick but otherwise, superb!
They had a delicious Hazy IPA by Bare Bottle Brewing of which I am a huge fan.
All in all 10/10 & I will be back soon!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 14, 2024
If there's a top tier burger to be eaten in SF then chances are it's going to be in my mouth at one point or another. Roam tried to make its case and they are close. I've had some really solid and tasty burgers here and I've also had the worst burger of my life here. There are several locations which makes it pretty hard to nail down consistent quality. All in all Roam is legit. Not going to go wrong with most of the burgers. But there's something here that is wildly underrated and completely unmatched. This onion and zucchini strings are unreal. They are unique and very addictive. This is the best side dish I've ever had at a burger place. If these things aren't a big deal yet then let's make them a big deal. If you think they are just okay then don't tell me. I'll probably freak out. They also have decent milkshakes and this little marshmallow bite was actually really good. Roam, good on you. Keep it up.

Fantastic burger and fries. Burger was savory and delicious. We ordered the Heritage, Chalet, and Classic. The Heritage was the best and the bacon was substantial. Service was excellent. Drinks are quite pricey for what you get, for example, $5 for an "artisanal" lemonade.

food here was bussin; the friends I went with after the cherry blossom festival agree. perfectly cooked meat dripping with juice, remarkable sesame seed bun, fresh vegetables for a semblance of helth. I ordered the special but I think next time I'll try the classic. our new burger place in the city - will certainly be back.

It was ok , way overpriced bouji burgers make sure you order it well done I said medium and the cow was still alive lol. The star of the show was the mint chocolate chip milk shake only problem is it's $13!!!!!! Ridiculous pricing. Also got the fry trio pretty basic the zucchini fries were interesting , but nothing worth the price if you ask me.

Holy cow, this is one of the better burger places in San Francisco. We ordered burgers for a work lunch and thought okay, I'll give it a chance - not thinking that my mind was about to be blown.
The thing about Roam is they have a simple menu but with a lot of options and upscale toppings. The burger styles, toppings, bun options and meat options make this place a good choice for picky eaters.
I ordered the TEJANO, which was for me a beef patty with Pepper Jack, Jalapeño Relish, Avocado, Tomato, White Corn Strips, Herb Ranch.
It was absolutely delicious and made me feel like I was eating a steakhouse burger, not my work meeting.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 5Oh no 0
