I work around the area at times and this is my go to breakfast place!

The wait can be a little long with the morning rush so call ahead for pick up if you're in a hurry.

The staff is quick and efficient all the time.

My go to is the sausage, egg and cheese on a roll. SO GOOD! And for the price (I think it was $6) it's HUGE! You get a bang for your buck compared to a deli SEC.

Everything else on the menu looks delicious as well. But I'm a stickler for the SEC.lol.

This bakery had been in business since I was a young girl. I'm in town and stopped by for desserts and fresh bread. Prices are very reasonable!

Cute bakery with a fresh and healthy juice bar inside. I came with a friend for some fresh juice and left with a bag of delicious cookies. The staff are super friendly and everything is reasonably priced. Lots of seating inside too. Definitely recommend!

Princesa Bakery's allure lies not in its culinary prowess but in its ability to provide a sense of home and familiarity. The food, while not outstanding, serves its purpose. It is more than adequate to satisfy hunger pangs and fill you up. Their breakfast options, such as the Papas Caseras Con Tocineta Y Huevos (hash browns with bacon and eggs), offer a hearty start to the day. However, one would be hard-pressed to describe the experience as truly delicious.

Curiously, the bakery's bread is an enigma. Strangely lacking in taste, it may leave discerning palates desiring more. Yet, despite this shortcoming, the patrons keep coming back. There is an intangible quality about Princesa Bakery that transcends the mere flavors on the plate. It's an amalgamation of nostalgia, community, and a sense of belonging that keeps customers returning time and again.

The appeal of Princesa Bakery becomes apparent when one looks beyond the culinary aspect. On a lazy day, when one is seeking a simple and unpretentious meal, it fulfills its purpose. It provides a haven where you can find solace amidst the hustle and bustle of city life. The warm smiles of the staff and the familiar faces of fellow patrons create an atmosphere that is difficult to replicate elsewhere.

Princesa Bakery may not satisfy those seeking more adventurous and flavorful culinary experiences. If you're in search of gastronomic delights that tantalize the taste buds and push the boundaries of culinary artistry, you may want to explore other options available in the neighborhood.

But, even so, Princesa Bakery's value extends beyond its culinary offerings. It represents a cultural hub, a place where the Puerto Rican community can connect with its roots and share in the collective memories of home. It stands as a testament to the power of food in fostering a sense of belonging and preserving traditions.

In the mosaic of East Williamsburg's gastronomic landscape, Princesa Bakery may not be the shiniest tile. Its flavors may not ignite culinary fireworks or leave an indelible mark on your taste buds. However, for the Puerto Rican community and those seeking a comforting, unpretentious meal in a welcoming environment, it remains an irreplaceable presence.

Princesa Bakery is a testament to the idea that a dining experience is not solely defined by the quality of the food, but by the connections, memories, and sense of belonging that it fosters. It stands as a reminder that sometimes, in the search for extraordinary flavors, we may overlook the significance of a humble bakery that fills a community's heart with warmth and familiarity.

Love this place! They variety of fresh food is the best, and lets not forget all the baked goodies. There is room to sit and eat and a natural juice bar. They offer the best breakfasts as well as lunch sandwiches for a reasonable price. Considering how bisy they always are the service is fast and courteous. It's one of the only gems left of old Williamsburg. The ambiance is just that!

Great place for quick coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I am glad they're one of the few spots in the area that haven't been gentrified and has kept affordable prices. They're my go-to spot for a bacon egg and cheese any time of the day.

I ordered the Cuban sandwich and a couple of empanadas from Princesa Bakery in the hopes of satiating my hunger. The Cuban sandwich was packed to the brim! This is usually a plus in my book, but this caused the bread to get soggy, which is a big hinderance when eating a sandwich. No one likes soggy bread! The empanadas were passable? Not sure, they seemed a bit empty as they lacked any filling.

Overall, an okay place to get something to eat if you are looking for something quick and dirty.

This bakery has changed and I'm so happy to be coming back. They made a beautiful baby shower cake for me and followed instructions to the T.

My last review a few years ago, the cake was horrible but this time around it was amazing and so fresh. I also order green juice, tacos and toasted bread from here. It's all very delicious, I must say they stepped their game up for sure.

I went in with my son, and we ordered a sandwich and not only was it burnt. It tasted funky. When I went back in to tell them about my issue, they said that they couldn't do anything about it, and they refuse to give me a refund just because. Not to mention when I asked to speak to the manager they were extremely rude to me, making rude remarks in Spanish that I couldn't understand. Overall, the experience was horrible and I will never be eating here again.
