Pop N Pizza

Ended up trying the sausage pizza today and it is just as tasty. Once again, the best pizza in Shreveport.

I must say things went seamless EXCEPT the 2 Liter offering. It was a matter of the Fanta strawberry being out. I was offered 3 - 12oz Fanta strawberry pops in lieu of a 2 Liter.

Y'all that math ain't mathing. Although she meant well .. I just took a substitute flavor for the 2 Liter as not to have the conversation of math conversion and fractions PLUS someone called and they were trying to get delivery which required more conversation. Alas, I left.

I'll be back for cheese injected cheesesticks and calzones but not that marina sauce on the side with the bread sticks.

Good service, good atmosphere and a great pizza to wrap up a long day at the office. Service was above average but not over the top. Enjoyed our time and would go back for a good dinner

The pizza was good, but it was cold by the time we received it. Nonexistent customer service. You can't even call them because the phone number provided does not work. The delivery person didn't even attempt to contact me while delivering. And just left the pizza out in the cold in front of the building I live in. I just happened to go downstairs and see it sitting outside. I don't know how they can say they provide a delivery service when you can't even contact the business directly and there is no communication from them at all whatsoever.
IF I go back, I will literally just "pop n" to make sure I get pizza in a timely manner and can actually speak to a live person. That's a big IF, they left a bad taste in my mouth, figuratively, as pizza tastes pretty good.

In the past week, I have ordered here twice. Both times I ordered different things and was amazed both times. The injected breadsticks were unavailable the first time and an employee reached out to notify me. The service is welcoming and friendly, and I am all for supporting a small business. I highly recommend Pop N Pizza!

I was in Shreveport for the weekend and, while I was walking downtown, I was instantly captivated by the aroma of killer pizza. I took a picture of their address, and My friends and I paid them a visit.


It's a small, black owned and operated business with a husband and wife team. The wife was working the front counter. She told us that the wait time would be a little bit as her husband, the chef, was out making a supply run and he is much faster in the kitchen than she is. Totally cool. We weren't in a rush and she told us up front what was going on. As this was our first time there, we asked about their menu and options. Our mouths watered as she explained what the pizza roll crust was. Cheese and pepperoni stuffed crust. We also knew that had to try the nacho cheese injected bread sticks.

We ordered the Meat Ldovers with pizza roll crust, the Tropical, and the Hot Mess pizza.

All of them were phenomenal. The cheese is flavorful, thick, and pulls away in near unbreakable strands of goodness. The quality and freshness of the ingredients hits your taste buds instantly. The crust is great all the way to the edge. It has a great bite and easily holds the mountain of toppings that doesn't slide off. Every bite was a wonder and made even more tasty with a dip in their homemade garlic butter.

Do yourself a favor and hit up Pop N Pizza.
It is well worth the time.

My favorite pizza place. Those injected cheese sticks!!!!! Whew!! I haven't had a pizza that didn't satisfy yet. Great food!!

I gave this place a shot after noticing it a few months ago and have no complaints! The place is nothing special - a pizza joint where you can order to go or dine in. No frills, but fresh, good food.

I had the 3 meat calzone for 8.99 - GIANT portion btw. And I could resist ordering an order of injected breadsticks (injected with nacho cheese) - also I giant portion. Be careful with the injected sticks. The cheese stays piping hot forever. All in all my food was great. Quality ingredients, which were noticeable. They do go a little heavy on the garlic butter on top of their stuff, so if that's not your jam you might ask them to hold off on it.

The one negative I went away with (and the reason for four stars) is the restaurant seemed to be understaffed. I waited about 30 minutes for my individual order, which was fine by me as I had time, but not everyone does. They even ran out of pepperoni slices and one customer chose not to dine there due to the next pepperoni pizza taking 25 minutes.

All in all, I had a good experience and will definitely recommend and be back!

Wonderful atmosphere and even better community leaders running their own restaurant. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. My wife and I will visit often!
