This particular Pizza Hut location next to Freedom Fitness on University Dr. in Edinburg has become our go-to place to order takeout pizza.

Please do not confuse this location with the Pizza Hut at the corner of University and Sugar Road, as that one is very different in my opinion. I noticed one of the pictures posted by a reviewer is of that other Pizza Hut location. I believe the confusion between the two is the reason why this location has some negative reviews that would otherwise be puzzling to me.

My family and I have always had a positive experience at this location. We order online and take advantage of great deals that are offered at their website. The pizza is always consistently made just as we ordered and made available at the time specified.

The dining room at this location is smaller, but I have always found it to be clean and well-maintained.

Tonight when I picked up our pizza, it was exactly as ordered. The person who waited on me asked if I wanted to verify the pizzas and make sure they were as requested. They were. She also offered crushed peppers and Parmesan cheese.

Yes, I would prefer pizza baked in a woodfired oven, and less commercialized. But that's talking a whole different class of restaurant and of pizza. Around these parts that means a much higher price if you can even find it. But for what it is, Pizza Hut, at this particular location, does a fantastic job. I recommend them.

This pizza hut location lost my business since the last time i ordered from here in super bowl Sunday. I ordered a pizza and it was all soggy literally i piked it up and it folded. And when i went to store after i had send a complaint to pizza hut customer service. They told me to go in for a replacement. The manager stated they did the doe differently than usual in order for them to come out faster because they had a-lot of orders. I believe they shouldn't cut corners even if takes longer they should provide a good pizza. I attached a photo similar to what happened to my pizza i wasn't able to find the pictures i took.

If I could give no stars I would. You can get better service from a little caesars at 8 in the morning then this place. Now I arrived with my girlfriend at around 8 and it was empty so we waiting for a server and they never arrived we where there for a good 30 minutes. And still no service we ended up leaving and bought little caesars.

The service here was absolutely horrible. We waited about over 5 minutes to be helped. There was no one at the front when we walked in so we weren't greeted. It basically looked like there wasn't anyone working. The front door was locked but the open sign was on. If you had never been here, you more than likely wouldn't have known there was even a side door so you would have thought it was closed. One person asked if we needed help. I mean, obviously! Over 5 minutes is absolutely pathetic. My partner started ordering and then suddenly the worker said he needed to take care of something in the back and that he would be right back. Then someone else came a few minutes later, the delivery driver, and asked if we had been helped. So he had to finish taking the order. This place is absolutley pathetic. People need to get fired. This isn't the first time this has happened. I also dont know how they could run out of something when no one even eats here to begin with. The staff is lazy and shouldnt even have a job here at all if they expect not to put in any work and make up excuses. There was no one calling to order and the worker that was supposed to take our order was on HIS OWN phone. He brought our food and said if we needed anything, we could get it ourselves, plates and such. This man needs to be FIRED. He wasn't wearing a name tag, probably for an obvious reason. The name on the receipt says Daniel, but I have no idea if that was the delivery driver. I had no problems with the delivery driver.

Worst service ever. I've been there several times and its always bad. Last time I went we waited for 20 mins at our table with not even a drink order taken. Finally walked out and haven't been back. Just.... Horrible service. Staff has a serious attitude and the place is never clean.

Ridiculous! I hate their delivery. I got my pizza 20 minutes late and...... It was nearly cold. I open my box of bread sticks and they didn't even cut them! It was one large bread cheese catastrophe. Never get delivery! Every time I order something goes wrong and they're rude.

I never leave reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one because I can't understand why people are giving this Pizza Hut such low ratings! I understand everyone has their own experience, so I'll leave it at that, but I also wanted to share our experience.

The staff at this particular Pizza Hut has always been exceptionally helpful and polite to both me and my husband. My husband will usually go by to pick up an order, while my experience is usually phone order/delivery. My husband says the manager and the employees are very polite, always referring to him as Mr. or sir. Every time I've called, they are helpful and patient answering questions about specials and menu items. They are honest about delivery times, and often deliver before the estimated time. The pizza and other food items are always hot and made to order. The only problem we had once was when we ordered spicy BBQ flavored wings and got Jim Beam Whiskey BBQ flavored wings as a replacement, apparently because they discontinued the spicy BBQ flavor and the person taking our order failed to tell us that and about the substitution. But when we called to inform them, they offered to collect all the spicy BBQ flavoring that was left at the other nearby Pizza Huts in case we ordered it in the near future. (We told them that wasn't necessary, and tried other flavors until settling on Teriyaki and/or lemon pepper.) They also credited us for the wings.

This is fast food pizza, not a gourmet Italian restaurant. I'm not sure what others are expecting. But from our experience, we've never had a problem with the food or the employees at this establishment. Happy Pizza Eating!

I don't know who they hired recently, but things went in the crapper last night. For starters, my pizza was 30 minutes late, but that's just the beginning of what pissed me off.

When I tried calling the establishment to inquire about the status of my order, it took *8* minutes before someone responded. Do you realize how much money could be lost in this manner? I suppose that's why none of these workers will ever see higher employment.

Then when the pizza finally gets here, the first thing I want to hear from the driver's mouth is an apology, not "how am I doing?" And only after I say exactly 'how I'm doing', do I even get the first attempt at an apology (since the people who picked up after 8 minutes didn't care to).

If you continue to treat your customers like ****, you will find you reap what you sow.

This is the absolute worst pizza hut and second would be the closner location. Notorious for cold, skimpy topping pizzas. I have paid extra for extra cheese and have been ripped off on several occasions. Addressed it at the manager level and no response back. Wrote a letter to corporate and nothing. I use to love pizza hut but these locations have tarnished what I enjoyed about pizza hut.
