Came here today for some food before church! Great food, great service, great people. Next time we go we will sit outside. Would recommend to everyone! Come eat here, definitely worth trying.

We came here for brunch because they have a gluten-free menu and boy was it worth the drive to Amityville!
I had a Peachy Bellini which was so good and a great way to start. We shared an order of gluten-free churro waffle bites that were amazing and delicious
I had an order of Pumpkin Apple crumb pancakes and they are the best pancakes I have ever had! So yummy.
My friends had pulled pork eggs Benedict, one regular order, and one gluten-free and they were both very happy with them.
Can't wait to go back again and try some more delicious foodHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

No need to fear, healthier eating options are here! Plentiful regular menu, along with a separate vegan-gluten free menu of the SAME items. Usually eating better comes at a premium but that was not the case here-take advantage.
Feel free to substitute food choices here at your heart's desire with zero guilt and judgement.
Nice restaurant, went here for breakfast and enjoyed myself. Stress free, laid back vibes. Felt like a breakfast place I would visit when away on vacation. Home Goods/Hobby Lobby decor makes everything feel more inviting to me.
Good:
-glass of fresh orange juice with check-in
-the price difference between a regular dish and the same dish gluten free or vegan was marginal, no crazy markups
-intimate space with easy listening music playing
-waitress was pleasant and answered a lot of menu questions
Bad:
-all devout credit card holders: bring cash for gratuity as it is strongly preferredHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1Business owner information

I love this restaurant. Just had the most delicious rib eye steak. Gluten free fried calamari was amazing. Food is excellent. In all the times I have been eating here, I've never had any GF symptoms or issues. Nice to know there is a place to go and not get sick. Thank you Al and Erin.

My favorite brunch spot in Long Island. Literally everything ob the menu tastes good. This one place is a gem. The service is phenomenal as well. The drinks are super too. Don't walk run there.

Update to respond to the owners reply! We arrived after 12, and yes we did sit a few hours while having lunch however we were never asked to not use our laptop (planing a trip with friends), and the cord was plugged in right next to us not running across the dining room. Besides that, if anybody had come over to the table after and asked if we needed anything we all would have ordered some cocktails and gladly kept our check open if that was the issue. I completely understand not holding on to a table after it's been closed out but the manner in which this was approached was extremely rude and distasteful.

Thanks for taking the time to explain what happened. To be clear to those reading this . The review was made after these guests had lunch on a quiet Monday around 11:30 . They stayed until 4 pm . The day time server saw them to plug in their iPad , and they used the table for 4.5 hours . At 4 pm She clocked out went home . Dinner service starts at 4. New servers arrived & we like to change over the entire restaurant sweep etc . There maybe was a better way to explain to you girls that we are needing the table now , let’s remove the charging cord being run across the room - to set up for dinner but your feelings were hurt and for that I do apologize but I do think it’s inappropriate to assume that our restaurant can be used to plan your events , run your business etc. plug into our electric you should consider choosing a Panera or Starbucks if you need a table for 4-5 hours not a small restaurant. I’d be hard pressed to believe any of my neighboring restaurants would allow this . I’ve seen a lot of things over my 20 years in business this is a first .
im sorry we lost a customer but maybe you see things from our perspective as well. ErinApr 23, 2024Previous reviewWould not recommend. Rude and plenty of other local businesses that will appreciate your patronage.

First time here. Great little place with explosive food!
We came for breakfast today but will be back for lunch or dinner, maybe both.
I was craving waffles. If you're too. Then grab the cannoli stuffed waffles. I paired mine with a delicious Bloody Mary.
Inside is so cute and cozy.
Great service, wonderful spot in the heart of Amityville.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 1 - Jun 24, 2023
*Cash recommended!
My friend and I went to Park Avenue Grill because it came up highly rated for gluten-free friendly restaurants. This place was definitely popping! We arrived around 12:30pm on a Sunday, and we had to wait 10 minutes for a table. They will put you on the waitlist and will text you when your table is ready. The interior is cozy and reminded me of a bed and breakfast. If you pay in cash, you only need to pay the menu prices, which is why I recommended cash over card.
We both ordered strawberry lemonade, which was refreshing, but the strawberry flavor took away from the tanginess of the lemonade. I ordered the Country Omelet ($18) and my friend ordered some type of gluten-free tacos that were on the specials menu. The food was terrific!! For me, I got my omelet with fruit instead of home fries. The toast had the perfect amount of butter, and the omelet was flavored well and all the meats were juicy. My friend also completely cleared her plate, and did not have a gluten-attack after we ate here.
The only reason that I did not give Park Avenue Grill 5 stars is because of the way I got treated in the restaurant. The waitress would not look at me and would only address my friend. I felt a little weird, but I did not want to read into it. It was my friend who brought up that the waitress completely ignored me. When the bill was brought, they also handed it directly to my friend. It was like I did not exist. I can see if I did not speak English or was rude to the staff, but that was not the case. So at the end of the day, it just felt slightly racist. It seems this is not a common experience at this restaurant when I was reading the reviews, but I wanted to put it out there because it was our experience.Helpful 4Thanks 2Love this 0Oh no 2Business owner information

Thank you very much for the great review . And I’m sorry if anyone made you feel anything but love and appreciation. I thank you for taking the time to share that personal detail in your experience. I will speak to everyone who works with me and make sure that doesn’t happen again.
Definitely not the way I’d want anyone to remember my place .
Hope to see you and your friend again

Visited today for the first time and I would give the overall experience a 10/10 and my dish a 7/10. The place is tiny but very charming and the staff was super kind. The waitress I had genuinely seemed excited for us to enjoy our meal which was particularly nice on a gloomy and rainy Saturday! I ordered the gluten free chicken and waffles and the dish was a good base for a lot of potential! The waffle was too soft for me, which is personal preference and something I now know to adjust if ordering again. What effected the meal the most for me was how under seasoned it was. The chicken needed some salt and spices to help balance the overall sweetness of the dish. Once I added salt, the meal tasted balanced and brighter. I will certainly be back, maybe for dinner to try the drink and overall think it is worth the visit if you are interested!
