Came on a Sunday night, had Kim as a server and she was amazing! Really enjoyed her kindness and helpfulness!

We went here for lunch, solely based on nostalgia, as we used to come here once a month back in the '00s. I had a salad and a burger, both of which were okay. My wife, however, had a fried chicken sandwich that was not okay: overcooked chicken, the portion size of which barely filled half the bun; and most of the lettuce used in her sandwich was brown and wilted. We also noticed a cleanliness problem at our booth at the end of our meal, with dead bugs along the window. On a lighter note, Anna was a wonderful server. Nonetheless, we won't be coming back.
No Cheers.

Favorite sister, her hubs and I ate at Outback on Veterans Day. Although the restaurant was packed, as was the parking lot, we only had a brief 10-minute wait until being seated at a comfy 5 top.
We split a bloomin' onion; I had a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and sis/bro-in-law split a new dish, a pork chop plate; with bro-in-law adding on, I believe another new item: a cup of chili.
The bloomin' onion was good. My Caesar salad was huge ya'll and served with the dressing on the side as I requested. Family loved the pork chop dish, it had a sweet and a spicy element to the sauce and they pork chops were large and cooked perfectly, not too dry.
Although I didn't taste the chili, it looked really good! It was meaty as in large chunks of steak, and bro-in-law said it was delish! He was happy he got a cup of it instead of a bowl, because it was *so* filling.
Our server was friendly ad knowledgeable but totally slammed. The food runners were helping out; however, they forgot my bro-in-law's chili. The good news was they had plenty of staff on the floor, and like I mentioned, helping each other out. I was happy for Outback because a packed house is a good problem to have. It would have been a 5-star experience if our server wasn't so slammed.Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 0Dec 6, 2019Previous reviewRecently placed a takeout order here and things went fairly smoothly! I arrived a few minutes early and enjoyed a glass of nice, cold vino while they packed up the dinner for 4 for me to celebrate a facetime wedding held in Georgetown, TX that could not be attended by the local grandparents were it not for the goodness of facetime and cellphone technology and whatnot.
The only drawback for me, was the Outback app does not allow you to order takeout - this kinda surprised me as that's how I'm used to doing it. (I think it is used for pre-seating and accumulating points only - but don't quote me). I believe I ordered from the desktop site, following up with a phone call to ensure they received the order and knew what time I needed it. They did receive the order and all items were beautifully packed and the taste was as expected - very very, good and enjoyed by all - we selected items based on the actual wedding menu so it was as if Grandpa were actually in Georgetown.
The Outback patrons on this Saturday evening were friendly and the staff were too.
Thanks Outback for the good care you took of my group and me and for being a delicious part of a festive longtime friends and family celebration! - Linsey O.Phenix City, AL08Jan 21, 2024
I love outback and their food is always good! The main problem I have with this location is with takeout. The employees who work the takeout area do not acknowledge you when you arrive. I waited outside 5 minutes before they came outside even though they both looked at me, but were goofing around laughing. Finally one of the came outside and asked for the name of the order and they weren't even friendly. Another problem with this location is the bar. I ordered a margarita and it was the worst drink I had ever had. It looked like water and tasted so bad I literally spit it out.

Just so everyone knows, sometime ago Outback changed the way they prepared all the steaks, biggest difference we found was they no longer use that special seasoning when cooking steaks anymore, big bummer in our opinion.
also the only steaks that get cooked on an actual Flame grill are the ones with the bones in them, all the others get cooked on a flat top grill and press. Outback just lost 2 customers !!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Colin T.Huntsville, AL1071853199Mar 26, 2022
Outback Steakhouse is always a reliable choice for dinner in Madison. They are usually always packed so I highly recommend arriving early or joining their waitlist online.
My favorite appetizer ever are from Outback. Their Bloomin' Onion and Cheese Fries are both amazing! Honestly the complimentary bread and butter are really good as well. The house salad, blue cheese chop salad and the wedge salad are all really awesome side salads. For entrees, the Alice Springs Chicken and 6oz Outback Special Sirloin or Filet are my go to meals. The Loaded Potato or Loaded Potato Soup both pair very nicely with it. If you're looking for a healthier side, the steamed broccoli are really good. If you want dessert, definitely try the Chocolate Thunder From Down Under, you won't regret it!
This Outback is located in Madison on Hwy 72 W in front of the Kohls shopping center right past Nance Rd. They have a decent size parking lot but it usually fills up. Over flow parking is right behind it in the back of the Kohls parking lot.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Andy O.AL, AL083May 24, 2023
I ordered the ribs with a sweet potato, and the service was good but the waiter handed the check and walked away for 4 minutes. Calm music calm restaurant, until the baby's start to cry. Gluten free not dairy free, but over all 4 out of 5.

Fettuccine Alfredo - this dish requires fettuccine and Alfredo sauce, otherwise it's just a poorly prepared pasta dish. That's what I got tonight in my carry out supper. It's as if the kitchen didn't even try - very disappointed! May have to reconsider ever ordering here again.

Absolutely horrible. The stake was not cooked to which we asked told the waiter he had them put back on and then came back out so cook that it was so chewy we could not eat them. I spoke to manager and he said well it's because you ordered the sirloin I said I have been eating this at this cook for as long as I can remember. So with that commit from him. I decided I was not paying for any of it. And good for him he agreed. The store was not over busy and we heard 3-4 other people send their plat back before we got ours. And another 3-4 after we did ours. Save your time go to another store or stake house.

I've been sitting in the take out spot for over ten minutes and no one has even spoken to me. It's like this a lot. Curbside pickup desperately needs attention from the higher ups, cuz what they're doing now isn't working.
