Great little casual dining spot. The flatbread was great, and all my friends enjoyed their meals. They have some of the biggest, pillowiest gnocchi I've ever seen. Our service was good and it's reasonably priced.

Terrible service. Absolutely horrible experience.
Was seated for 15 minutes before water and menus.
Then once we had our menus we were ready to order and waited another 15 minutes before she came to take our order.
Slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow slow. And did I say SLOW?
I would never come here again. Especially if you are hungry.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jared O.Pittsburgh, PA06Dec 10, 2023
The food was hit or miss. They give you chunks of bread with pesto olive oil: very good. We ordered burrata which is supposed to come you crostini - but they gave us more chunks of bread. Not sure if they ran out, the waitress didn't inform us. I ordered the shrimp Cavatelli. The vodka sauce was lacking that special something. It was good, but only as good as a jar of vodka sauce from the store. The shrimp was very over cooked. It has the consistency of dry chicken. It tasted like they didn't but raw shrimp, but precooked shrimp and tossed them on the stove... which is a big no no. My girlfriend got the stuffed peppers which were actually quite good.
The place was so loud we had to shout at each other the entire night. The acoustics in the place made very sound bounce off the walls - akin to hofbrauhaus.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Dec 14, 2023
Overall I really liked Osteria! Amazing espresso martini and I loved the burrata starter. I ordered the Apple & Bleu Cheese salad and added chicken and cranberries to it. The huge leaves of lettuce made it a little messy to eat but the chicken and dressing were delicious. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and drinks too -- the shrimp cavatelli, grilled chicken salad, and stuffed banana peppers. Service was a little slow, our drinks took a while to come out but they did have a couple large groups dining. I'd love to come back to try their pasta or flatbreads!

My husband and I went here and it was lacking. It seems like it should be warm and inviting, but the chairs are hard and not comfortable at all. The waitress was not attentive to the point of us having to flag her down multiple times. The food was good but not worth the price tag.

This place was 10/10. We came here to celebrate our friend's birthday and we all loved it. To start off, the staff were all super sweet and friendly. The place was very homey and comfortable, I loved the vibe there. They also have amazing price so if you want a nice dinner date with your partner or family this is the spot!
I didn't try all the plates my friends ordered but I'll rate the ones I tried.
Mussels: 10/10. this is a must get, for 12$ we got a gigantic plate, around maybe 25-30 mussels. The mussels were very fresh and clean and it was cooked in a rich broth so the flavor was on point. It was an amazing start of our dinner.
Shrimp cavatelli: 10/10 I've never had cavatelli but it was amazing, the pasta was cooked with butternut squash in a mushroom sauce. The butternut squash was so spot on and it added this sweetness and texture in the pasta, amazing. The shrimp was huge and firm to the bite, I could tell that it was very good quality. The mushroom sauce was very creamy but it wasn't too heavy. I loved it.
Alfredo gnocchi: 6/10. My friend has never had gnocchi and she got this. The gnocchi was huge. Id have to say the flavor was a bit bland and heavy since gnocchi is quite heavy and the alfredo sauce was also creamy.
Meatball: 8/10 I had my friends meatball since it was so big and she can't finish, it was huge and tasty. Nothing really special about it but just a very good traditional meatball.
Apple crumble cheesecake: 10/10 I love apple desserts so I might be biased, it tastes just like how you can imagine, basically a combo of apple pie and cheesecake. The cheesecake had a perfect texture between light and creamy, apple crumble was also very yummy. Felt like a very homey dish, I throughly enjoyed it.
Chardonnay: I just wanted to comment because it was huge, definitely at least two servings of wine for $10, so cheap and I loved the taste, went perfectly with my food.
Overall the dinner came to only 117$ for four people, we all got desserts and I got wine. Look at how much food it is. This place is very home styled and comfortable but it is also a fancy dinner. All the food was so well made and fresh and service was on point. I'm thinking about coming back for my graduation dinner. But overall I loved it!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 11, 2023
There is nothing like a hood Italian meal and this place doesn't disappoint. The place maybe smaller but they give you great portions at a great price! Tonight they had a prefixed menu for the holiday weekend and wow we left happy.
The eggplant Parmesan was perfectly crispy on top of the spaghetti with marinara sauce. The pesto gnocchi were light and paired perfect with the sauce. We finished off the night with their house made cannoli and couldn't decided what flavor so we got both the original and the raspberry white chocolate which was the best of both worlds!Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lauren G.Gwinnett Place, Duluth, GA151537Apr 17, 2024
The gnocchi is amazing I love it here! The meatball and sausage are delicious in the sauce and my bf loved his chicken Parmesan

Welcoming restaurant, with the feel of a cafeteria. Not busy on Thursday evening. Prices were good. Presentation of food artistic. Olive bread and pesto were tasty as we waited for our food.
Wait staff worked together and were pleasant. Pacing was slow.
Italian pasta was definitely homemade and fresh. I wished there were more shrimp but what I had was flavorful.
All of us took some portion of our entrees home because the portions were large.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 11, 2022
Feels like you are stepping into your family kitchen. Don't let the open concept with deli-like counters fool you. This was our 2nd time here and everything was just as yummy as we remembered!
Locally sourced, fresh ingredients and fresh made pasta is what makes this place amazing.. and attentive service ( our server Olga was just perfect).
We started with the antipasti - pickled & marinated veggies & assortment of Italian meat and fresh mozzarella cheese.
We enjoyed this with the fresh baked bread & pesto dipping sauce.
Dinner was - the classic hot Italian sausage stuffed peppers! ( Parma's !!)
& one of the specials- fresh made cavatelli with shrimp & butternut squash in a light mushroom sauce. MY husband (who does not eat mushrooms) tasted & said "I would eat this!! "
No room for dessert- but got a slice of Nutella & Vanilla swirled cheesecake for the road ! (all desserts made on site).Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
