The important thing to note about this place is that most people go for the vibe. It's an old converted church and looks very cool with outdoor seating which is always a must for me in the spring/summer.
The drinks and even the food is very pricey ($$$) for a family restaurant.
The food itself is only ok however it's always consistent. It is the type of place you go to when you are just in the area and not feeling picky. Nothing will wow you but you are not necessarily disappointed. Its basic. Menu is mostly wings and pizza which are probably the most tasty items. There's also a lot of seafood but again I haven't been blown away from those.
Service was good enough. The people are friendly and they get very busy so you have to be understanding that it's a big location with two floors.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Morgan W.Sayreville, NJ085Jan 27, 2024
Chillin out, maxin and relaxin all cool I thought back to a dinner with some fools!
The tatted lovers accompanied us to Old Glory and all its history. Dating back to 1776 old glory was...sorry sidetracked there now back to the food.
To start we order the Maryland Crab Dip. The flavor was fresh and sweet. Lumps of meat throughout made Mr Krabs run his legs back to Baltimore.
Two orders of wings Rosemary Parmesan and Texas BBQ. The Rosemary Parm hits on so many levels, the initial Rosemary packs a punch and then cheesy parm comes in behind to max a flavor burst in your mouth.
The good ol Texas BBQ, the nice smoky flavor felt as though Hoss himself took it off the pit and served it up. Nice and saucy wings are what's desired that I wanted to stand up and shout yeehaw buckaroo!
Our main dish was the Seafood pizza, by golly with the amount of food on there, the oceans may be bare for a couple days. The clams and shrimp mix so well with the seasonings they use. Light and not overwhelming and truly satisfying.
Definitely a must visit!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 3254113Mar 29, 20241 check-in
Love this place! Been here before, they changed up the menu but the wings are still on point as always!

I just can't get enough of this place or the staff. Dinner last night. My husband had the crab cake sandwich because he always does. They've added poke bowls and sushi and I had the house bowl, yellowtail, salmon and tuna and it was excellent! Sangria was top shelf, lava cake was not too sweet and delicious. And Mia our server was fantastic as usual. We will be back soon.

Hi Kathy,
We really appreciate your positive review! Thank you for dining at Old Glory.
Sincerely, Chris, OwnerApr 20, 2019Previous reviewAwesome place!!! We been here quite a few times since it opened. I'm just starting a Keto Diet so need to eat totally different from usual so I got the Buffalo Wings--awesome!!! Over roasted, buffalo sauce has the ring amount of heat and the wings were well done-- just like I want them. A side of spinach with roasted garlic and oil-yum!!
Husband has the soft shell crab sandwich and also said it was great.
Crab dip? Fabulous....this is a regular appetizer for us. I asked Sheridan to add some carrots and celery since I'm avoiding carbs. Aha was great!! Thanks Sheridan.
We will be back soon, especially now that it's getting warmer.
Highly recommended!!! Try it!! - Richie G.Piscataway Township, NJ161523May 20, 2024
COMPLETELY AVERAGE!-me and my crew rolled into this place Saturday for a celebratory dinner and nothing really overwhelmed us. The hostess and most of the help were obviously college students trying their best. We tried a large variety of the appetizers. The pizza had an unpleasant after taste, cheeseburger. Egg rolls were good but from frozen, the baked clams were outstanding and sadly ,the chicken wings were bland and dry. My friend had the crabcakes which were small and a lot of bread, the sushi seemed to be good. The short rib dinner was fairly good with more sides than meat, and fish and chips dinner just average from frozen---dessert was puzzling called Apple crisp if they served apples in a jar with ice cream , I can pass on this next time. another thing that bothered me was $10 a drink for rock glass size drinks, not full glasses and service was hit and miss this getting different appetizers at different times in general not really that quick --again in general just an average experience not worth the price I paid --probably won't be back.

I stopped by on Saturday with my fiancé before the dinner rush. We were seated right away. Our server was friendly and attentive.
We shared the Texas BBQ wings. I really enjoyed them.
Now here's what I didn't like. I ordered the Melon berry mojito. It was really watered down and I didn't care for it. I had the crab cake sandwich for my entree. The fries were good but the sandwich was just okay. It was bland and I felt like I had to drowned it with the house made remoulade to eat it.
Overall, my experience was okay. I think I would give Old Glory another try and order something different.Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 2 - Tom K.East Brunswick, NJ8127374Apr 26, 2024
Very cool place that I have been wanting to try. The vibe and decor is great. What's cooler than a converted church? Service was friendly... food was good but not going to blow you away... I'd say it's above average. I think they use quality ingredients, but they need to focus on execution/taste a little more. The chicken parm dinner and sandwich were bland. Fire roasted wings were good but costly at $18... the Joey pizza had a good zing but nothing to write home about. Overall it's a very cool place... great to grab some drinks and pub grub. I'd definitely go back.
