Montana's Miami Beach

The place has a Scarface theme & it's at The Colony Hotel where the chainsaw scene was filmed.

Very nice menu. Great cocktails & fab service. Typical South Beach prices.

We were 4 people with 2 checks. 5 cocktails per couple and our bills with 18% gratuity included were about $200 per couple.

We both had beef empanada's . I have the Tony Montana Burger which is a chicken sandwich. My other half has Huevos Rancheros with chorizo. The other couple also shared beef empanada's. They had The Tony Montana Breakfast & the steak & eggs. See pics for descriptions.

We had a great time. Very cool place all around. I think we will be back!!!

Before spending the day on the beach, some friends and I decided to stop and get some food before we set up shop and decided to eat at Montana's. It was right on Ocean Dr. and we loved the energy on the strip so we decided to eat outside, but while we were there I did take the time to walk around the restaurant and they had super cool Tony Montana theme's there that we all loved.
Our server was friendly, and it wasn't very busy, so our food came out pretty fast, plus we all just ordered appetizers because we wanted to get to the beach. Unfortunately, a friend ordered a chicken taco but received a shrimp quesadilla instead, that was a terrible situation because he is allergic to shellfish and when we brought it up to the server she wasn't too pressed about it and just told us they would get his correct order soon.
Food was decent, I had some bbq wings they were tasty I honestly didn't have much expectations on the taste because I have wings often and I think it is really hard to mess up some wings lol I was there to eat just to sort of fill my tank up before sitting in the sun all day, and I definitely got that done.

This was such a fun spot to seat and people watch the service was great, the food was amazing, it was happy hour to boot so we really got to try a lot of what they had to offer.

We tried the Chicken Empanadas which were flaky and flavorful. The chicken was seasoned well and the salsa was a nice accoutrement to the dish.

We also ordered the Guacamole that was topped with a pico de gallo and was also very flavorful and delicious.

Lastly, the buffalo wings which were meaty and a house buffalo sauce that really set itself apart from other places we have had wings since it was not at all vinegar-y.

Here is where the 3 star that comes in.

We had a party of 6. 3 kids and 3 adults.

We had 4 beers that totaled a little over 20 dollars because they were on HH for 5.95 a piece.

The children ordered Shirley Temples, the first two were served in rocks glasses. They had refills we paid $25!!!!! For these soda in total.

That was literally a third of our bill.

Food $30 ($10 per plate)
Beer $25 (4 beers)
Kids sodas $25 (5 sodas)

I didn't scour the menu for drink refill policy but it would have been nice to been informed especially when the server was insisting they can get you another.

I randomly stumbled across this beachfront restaurant while looking for a place to grab breakfast. The original goal was to eat somewhere with a patio to take in the views however, it began raining and Montana's had a nice cozy indoor atmosphere. Here are 3 reasons why I highly recommended Montana's:

*Great customer service
*Delicious food (they did not hold back on the flavor, not even on the scrambled eggs)
*Quick service time (it was a decent crowd and our food didn't take long at all to come out)

The ambiance, service, and drinks are top notch here! Attentive without being overbearing and super personable. Maybe I just chose a bad item from the menu (I think I got the Thai chicken sandwhich) it was pretty bad, but everyone else in my party loved their food so I think I just got a bad hand. I found the sandwhich to be pretty bland and not really flavorfEverything else was so nice. I'd definitely come back but order something different for my meal!

Surprisingly the only restaurant on ocean drive that I will be back . Food was amazing. Lobster Mac and cheese fabulous, octopus perfectly cooked, meatballs w ricotta homemade.
Bartender was on top of the game drinks 10/10 .
Charming owner offered us after dinner drink that made whole experience even better .

Many options along the strip. Pick this one randomly because wasn't very busy. Went during happy hour so drinks were good, food was good. Problem was when paying the bill. The waitress scrolled through everything so quickly and informed us we got happy hour pricing which was great. The only thing I really was able to see was total bill and then how much I want to tip. Of course I was pleased so tipped very well. Then happened to look at receipt later when it was emailed to me and saw there already was an 18% tip include and then my additional 20%.
This may be customary down here but please disclose that to your patrons. Very shady way of getting additional tip.

The food was very good at this restaurant: However, be careful with being overcharged at this establishment. At the end of the night our waitress informed us they had charged 11% fees and charges which did not include the tip for the waitress. Therefore we gave her a 7 % tip hoping that would fulfill the 18%. When the total came we realized the fees were not 11% but 18, which means we paid her over 30% tip and service charge!

Amazing service by Rami! Thanks so much for making our vacation better and for being so kind and professional. We went back because of you! Also the food was out of this world !!

Had a great experience at the bar. Their smoked old fashion was delicious. Had a great chat with the bar tender.
