Kamal's Kafe

My go to meal is the combo plate. It is always prepared fresh and I've never had to wait too long for my drive thru orders. My only cons are the salad is pretty bland & I once ordered the beef kabob plate well done, & it was definitely not well done.

BEST lentil soup and falafel sandwich in greater Baton Rouge and greater New Orleans area, close to Gonzales, Louisiana. I highly recommend this Mediterranean restaurant for vegetarians or not vegetarians!

Every time we come to visit family it's a requirement to get Kamal's! It's always delicious and accurate! We've dined in on occasion & the friendly owner visited our table and welcomed us!

Hands down favorite Greek restaurant in all of Louisiana (and perhaps the world, yeah I'm looking at you too Greece)
The owner (Mr. Kamal?) is the friendliest most down to earth guy you'll meet. Then, the food, oh my gosh the food. I didn't even like hummus until I had Kamals hummus. I didn't even like tea until I had their Lebanese Tea!!! Everything from their gyro to their chicken , to their fried cheese to their spinach pies and the flowing drinks.
This is a must visit place, rather you want a nice sit down or had a rough day at work and don't feel like cooking? Hop through their drive through to pick up your order! (Don't let the word "drive-thru" fool you, this is not fast food, this is very good quality food that has a convenient window for people placing To-Go orders)

I wish I took photos of all the food, but I tend to put my phone away when I'm here and truly enjoy my time and the company.

The tahini sauce is good and the falafels were fluffy on the inside and crunch on the inside and great flavor, the shawarma was moist juicy and had great spice to it, the humus was smooth and creamy and delicious also loved the salad they are generous with the feta here. Friendly service & forest food. I'll be back many times. The FOOD WAS SERVED HOT

I have been here several time and very glad to write about their food. It's true what they say, "You get what you pay for" so here you really get good tasting food and generous portion of their chicken schwarma salad and especially if you buy one pound of the chicken and the fattouch salad dressing - always fresh and very very filling!!!!
I've been meaning to write about them for awhile bc it's locally owned and their food is yummy yummy delicious!

They have their patio open and the owner is always there - so polite!

The food is great and Kamal is a great guy. He charismatic full of energy and part of the community.

Good food and healthy. Well maintained area and drive through. Kamal is a little big headed, but his food makes up for it.

Recommend fried cheese and spicy Mediterranean chicken.

Chicken shawarma and gyros are top shelf as well.
