IHOP

Go to the IHOP ON BROADWAY and avoid the UNIVERSITY AVE location at all costs!! The University location is absolutely disgusting. The tables, even my menu, wasn't cleaned (like there was frosting on the omelette page??) and there was syrup all over the side of the table. Additionally, a hair on top of the salt dispenser. The waitress didn't even say anything to us when she put us at the table and just walked off. We ordered two waters and a juice when she came back. We left 5 minutes after because the drinks still weren't out and we were grossed out. If that's what it looked like from the dining area I cannot imagine how the kitchen is.

We went to the other location near us on Broadway and it was a night and day difference! Our waiter was quick to get our drinks and plates out, he was friendly, the place was clean (thank godddddd) and the food hit the spot! This is always dependable and we've always left satisfied.

This review is solely based off of the service at this location. (And one menu item.) 3 of us dining at around 3pm, restaurant is empty (maybe 2-3 other tables) Our server wasn't very friendly but we overlooked it. The meal took longer than 30 minutes to come out. My friend asked for "heated syrup" and he said "use what's on the table" she said, "no, I want it heated" he said "oh you mean warm". We thought that was rude but we continued our conversation and meal. We noticed he kept standing near us and staring, then he'd walk away and return a little later and again just stare. Finally, he comes to our table and says "I'm leaving" we were confused and said "ok" and he says "no, I'm leaving now" a friend of mine said "are you asking us to pay?" He said, "yes, I need to leave" we gathered our takeaway and we got up to go pay. I don't know if this is typical or he "needed" his tip.

As for the one menu item, the Willy Wonka lemonade is the saddest thing I've ever seen. It looked NOTHING like the picture, not even close! It's supposed to be a really pretty pinkish purple color with a cloud of pink cotton candy. My 5 year old niece could have made a better replica of the picture. This thing looked like dirty bath water with an inch of syrup at the bottom and the saddest most deflated white cotton candy on top. I don't expect it to be the exact same as the picture but at least try.

Terrible service waiting to be seated 15-20 minutes
Lots of empty tables but looked like no servers and lady at front clearly didn't care, 20 people waiting to be seated that had been waiting to be seated.
I would highly recommend you NEVER go to this ridiculous joke of a restaurant,

The service was very slow. Tables around us were complaining about not being able to find our waitress. She got two of our three orders wrong and forgot our fruit. I couldn't find her for about 10 minutes to ask for the fruit and water.

While we were inside eating our truck got broken into. In broad daylight! They took off our bed cover and threw everything out.

Needless to say, we won't be back to this location.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I waited for 15 minutes to be acknowledged ask about drinks and nothing. I asked a server passing by about my server and they responded they didn't know. We left without even being acknowledged. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Tried IHOP's limited time pancake tacos! Featured are their savory options - the Breakfast Pancake Tacos and Country Chicken and Gravy Pancake Tacos. Overall these were good, but I overall preferred their two sweet flavors.

The pancake provided a slight pleasant sweetness, but I also thought it was too soft to hold the integrity of a taco and the savory ones was missing some texture to complete it.

Overall service was decent and the waiter was fast with serving us. Overall it was fun to try all these flavors. $6 for 3 tacos, an amazing deal!!

I'd get the sweet tacos again.

Terrible service. Literally at the restaurant no one is eating and we been here for 40 minutes and not even come back out to refill my water, until I asked for more water then they leave me the pitcher.. I asked for a status on the food and all I got was "it's coming" 4 people waiting to be seated in an empty restaurant and it's been about 5-10 minutes. Definitely the worse service I've experienced in any restaurant. Someone ordered a tbone steak to go and left without paying for it and without it after waiting 30+ min.. unbelievable.

I waited 10 minutes for someone to come and ask how many people it was going to be for (2). I waited an additional 20 minutes for someone to come to even ask what we wanted to drink which they never did. We ended up leaving. Bad service overall, mind you it was a Tuesday afternoon where there was only at most 3

If i could put 0 stars, I WOULD! The service from Laticia was utter crap. The server was so rude and passive and we felt uncomfortable even saying anything about the foods quality to her. We couldn't even find her for the majority of our visit. we sat for almost an HOUR before receiving a kids meal that we ordered at the beginning. It was extremely warm inside i was sweating the entire time. When we complained to a manager about the food quality being absolutely terrible, she did not care at all or try to fix it in any way besides take the food off that we didn't hardly touch. the food was HORRID! i'll never come back.

That boy Joseph built different came in for dinner and left satisfied, amazing service, very attentive & extremely great personality.
