This is the GO TO SPOT for game day and good fun times.
What I love about HQ is the menu & decor!
It has a upbeat feel with delicious bar bites
They have chick n lollipops, sushi , fried pickles, asparagus fries, burgers & even homemade butterscotch pudding
With all the selections you can't go wrong.
The staff are ALWAYS doing a great job! It does get pretty busy so give them grace.
Besides all that! They have plenty tv's all around so you don't miss a bit of your game

Did I mention they are open from 12pm to 12am!

I've come here often, I have had plenty of good night. More goodnights than bad nights, but tonight was so over the top.

I met up with some friends to watch the game. Mind you there wasn't many people in the entire place maybe 20-30 people. We were sitting by the ropes where the waitresses/servers come get drinks from the bar. We never touched the rope, we never moved the rope, it wasn't that busy to need to.

One server who I have been told dates one of the managers tells my friend he's in the way... you can easily fit 2-3 people side by side where she was referring to. My friend moves over and says "oh you must be bored" because we were not in anyone's way.

So that server asks the bartender to basically close us out. So we give a card and she says we were being disrespectful because he told her she must be bored.

Never were asked to leave anything. So after like maybe 30 mins I finish eating it's 8:30 pm and I say I'm leaving i walk outside and that server was outside so i thought maybe i should apologize but before i could i noticed a cop approaching her, and then they go inside. so i go back in to make sure the people i am with are okay.

when i check on them everything and make sure everything is cool. i actually speak to the officer outside and i ask if he was called up there for that in which he says yes, because the server felt "intimidated" by us.

we never showed hostility, never raised our tones... the server was upset because she was told "she was bored"

then as I'm talking with the officer outside the server comes and say my other friend has paid but wont leave. so because I'm calm and the officer and i are having a conversation he asks me to go in and get my friend.

so i say no problem. i enter and i ask the bartender if he has cleared his bill and politely she says, "yes, i am just printing his receipt" which to me clearly shows the sensitivity of the server who called the police.

so i get him and as we are walking out 2 more officers are about to walk in.. so i go, "are you here to kick some people out?"

which they respond yes. so i say "its us officer, we are the ones you are looking for."

we speak to the cops who just tell us have a good night.

unprofessional, I'm not sure if she thought we were going to cause a scene, or what. but we weren't even drunk and never even raised our voices to call the police was so weird her only argument is we were disrespectful. but the worst thing said was "shes bored" it was a power trip if i have ever seen one.

the rest of the staff know us, they even looked shocked and how it was handled, but because of the servers status they knew they couldn't say anything.

these things can turn bad for both the patron or the officers involved this was not a situation that needed any type of security or police escort. the whole exchange was 2 mims max and everyone (except the server) was over it and moved on. mind you it took the police 30-45 mins to show up, if we were really causing an issue the police weren't going to get there in time.

i am actually shocked at how this was handled. I understand if she felt intimidated by 3 males, but if your staff does not have any kind of person to mediate these situations, other than this server who overreacted here, then management should take a look at the schedule.

And I'm not a person to throw out no race card, or anything like that, but this clearly was an overreaction by the server. I won't even say "staff" because it was an individuals choice. No other staff member had an issue with us. The other servers said we were not even in the way.

the last time I went here the server was SUPER nice and the food was even better. I got sliders and a pretzel and it was so good and was a huge meal I would 100 percent recommend this place 10/10.

What a find!! My girl friends and I were looking for a bar/club to chill for our GNO! Great atmosphere. Such a great place to hang out and have some drinks and food. We came here on a friday and the DJ was amazing! He played a great mix of songs! He didn't just stick to one genre of music, he did some 90's, R&B, rock, rap, EDM; overall I think this contributed to the great mix of vibe and people in the room. There was something for everyone. Everyone was a having a great time without the obnoxiousness that clubs tend to have. The bartenders were friendly, quick and attentive; our glass were never empty. Everyone was served in a timely fashion. The staff helped each other and were quick to assist one another; from the servers, to the bouncers and the bartenders. Shout out to our bartender, Emily! The goddess of ethanol, the bearer of inebriating elixir!

Best service, Best ambience, Best music, Best drinks, best Dj , best owner. Best security. Best bar tenders . BEST EVERYTHING . We love hq. This is an awesome place to have a good time. We always come back here. We go to many places to have fun but our favorite has always been HQ. We celebrated many birthdays here , stuff always gives their best and the service is impeccable.

HQ Gastropub in Woodland Hills is a great spot for a meal with a lively ambiance! The atmosphere is welcoming and modern. The food selection is diverse and delicious, with options for everyone. They have a good variety of drinks too. The bartenders are very attentive and friendly. It's a solid choice for a casual dining experience in the area.

I came by just to have a birthday shot. Shae was already giving us great service before I even mentioned it was my birthday. He surprised me and brought a delicious dessert and even had a candle for me! I honestly couldn't have asked for better service!

Tried HQ for the first time on Saturday and I'm definitely adding it to the rotation of restaurants to hit when I'm in this area. It was starting to get busy when we arrived...guess there was a Lakers game about to start but we didn't feel rushed or overlooked. Our server Hunter was great. She was on top of it and friendly and even gave us some tips as far as parking for our next visit.

The food was definitely yum! I love places that offer good vegan options. To start we ordered the edamame hummus. I wasn't expecting much. Most places just dump hummus and pita on a plate and call it a day. Not HQ...they put some love into that plate with seasonal tomatoes, sea salt and panko and the pita was nicely grilled. For my entree I went with a vegan burger. They actually have 3 vegan burger options...Impossible, Gardein and Black Bean. Went with the impossible and again was impressed! Both the burger and bun were grilled to a crispy goodness and all the add ons they put on the burger just added to the overall perfection. Next visit I plan on trying the Black Bean Burger. I also ordered a margarita..that too was yummy.

If you're in the area I would definitely recommend HQ!

A friend and I were looking for a place to grab a cocktail and HQ Gastropub came up on Yelp. Came by on a Saturday afternoon and there was a good crowd, but plenty of available seating. I didn't realize this is a sports bar, so when we walked in, we were greeted with the blaring sound of TVs. Maybe there was a game that day? I'm not a sports person. We sat at the bar and ordered two espresso martinis and the giant pretzel that comes with both cheese and caramel sauces. Service was great, the bartender was friendly and everything came out quick. The bartender was even kind enough to customize my friends drink a bit. Their espresso martini is made with cold brew! ZING! It was a great drink. The pretzel was delicious. It was large, so great for sharing. It came out warm and it was perfectly soft! The cheese sauce was what you would expect, but the caramel sauce was too sweet for me. I would definitely come back to check out more of their food, but I would probably sit outside to avoid the loud TVs.

Street parking can be a bit tricky, but there are meters along Ventura Blvd.

Enjoy coming to HQ for groups. We're usually in a medium sized group & the servers are friendly & patient with our varied requests. I've ordered a different meal each visit so far though I'm tempted to repeat. The plan is to continue to order something different each visit. The vibe is great bc who doesn't like music. Whether solo, coupled up, or in a group, w/choices from bar seating & booths, to a communal table you're sure to leave satisfied & in a good mood.
