WOW, the chicken, with a dash of the secret seasoning is out of this world, the portions are hefty, to say the least, there will always be leftovers, prices are fair for what you're getting

Started to hear a lot about this place from the locals so I had to try it out! Very big on the inside and prices are extremely reasonable and so are the portions of food. While I was ordering my food, a few regulars were on there picking up and placing orders. I used that time to ask a few questions like how often they come there, what's the favorite dish they order and what I should try! Everyone said the coleslaw is really good, the wings, and the catfish was to die for! This time I just got wings and fries. Everything was fresh and hot! My half and half was on point too! Definitely going back to try more on the menu.

I have been to this place on several occasions, and no matter what location I go to the food is always good. This is my go to spot so far in my new area when I looking to eat fish, or want some good ole chicken wings, they also have fried pickles which are great as well.

The chicken gizzards, fries and mac and cheese are deceptively delicious but very unhealthy. If you don't want high blood pressure, a stroke, or obesity, stay away from this place.

I enjoy Hip Hop chicken for what it is. I learned of them a few years ago and every time I come to Baltimore I somehow find myself craving their chicken. I would recommend calling ahead because the lines are typically long especially during lunch time. I normally go to the location on 40 but today I was at a hair appointment nearby and decided to try this location out. I ordered the whiting and wings. The chicken is fried hard like I like it and topped with their famous seasoning which is akin to a lemon pepper but has a tangy sweetness to it you gotta try it T least once. Who's not the healthiest of options, it's definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. The service here is nothing Ike my friends on 40 but what can you do? Decently Priced, we'll seasoned chicken, sign me up please

I just paid 15.00 bucks for two pieces of catfish & two pieces of whiting no fries no drink nothing else. I feel like I got got!! I'm licking my fingers though.......

This is the place for catfish, livers, gizzards, and so on. Few others have it together in one place.

Had a horrible experience at this establishment. The absolute rudest person answered the phone. First of all I'm a customer ordering a half hour before close. The guy gonna ask am I coming? Excuse me. I'm five minutes away. Anywho I get there and the dude who answers the phone insists that I ordered 6 pieces of fish which I did not. Customer service is horrible. The guy acts like I'm doing him a favor. Will NEVER SHOP here again!! If zero stars was a option i would have definitely used it.

This location is absolutely the worst! They are rude to the customers and act as if our black dollars aren't supporting them amazingly. Food isn't even worth it. Beware

On October 10, 2020 I purchased two catfish nuggets dinners from Hip. Hop. on Moravia Road ZIP Code 21206 my order number was number 98 and I saw also an order of being pie E the chicken nuggets was extra greasy fried to hard you couldn't even taste the meat I called and complain and the gentleman on the phone I told gave him the information he stated well you have to come in the same day how do you treat your customers like that when they have spent money on your merchandise and you just respect women quite a bit you coming to our neighborhood so show us some respect I gave him my name and he had my order number I will never order catfish nuggets from them again it was fried extra extra hard all you hadNo taste to the meat whatsoever
