Yes... everything here is "handcrafted"

It is cozy inside and the staff is great - the food is basic and you probably have been to a million spots like it if you have ever eaten at a restaurant before. I asked if they handcraft everything and they said that yes the cooks put together everything which honestly is expected of a restaurant! With Rubys and other restaurants nearby I wouldn't say this one stands out to me.

Handcraft Kitchen & Cocktails is a Kips Bay gem! Every single dish and cocktail was incredible, and the service was amazing. The Mac and cheese and truffle fries were insane, and the double hibiscus and flor de pina cocktails were highlights! This is an easy spot to make your weekly regular, and a highly recommend it to all!

Reliable and solid spot for happy hour food and drinks and drinks overall! Spacious and servers/bartenders are overall friendly. Good amount of TVs for sports and the music is also really good.

I've been back more than once and will return again soon!

Really nice happy hour spot tucked on Third Ave. my friends and I went for Taco Tuesday which had great deals on birria tacos, black bean tacquitos, and guacamole. The happy hour specials on appetizers and pitchers were also great. The service was attentive. I think it's a good place for groups especially after work.

Yum! Had such a terrific meal here. The pita bread was extra delicious. Flour-ey and sweet. Soft. Yum.

I got the spicy shawarma with chicken instead of steak. It was so yummy. The spicy was the perfect heat level. Loved the croutons on top that added crunch. Loved mixing greens and grain. It all tasted so good as a big messy mix. Yum! I truly cleaned that plate at the end. Not a spot left for anyone to finish.

The inside is really open and breathable. Fun colors. Plenty of seating. Really inviting space. The staff was extremely kind. Nice smiles all around.

Came yesterday on a Monday for a Harry Potter trivia night (kudos to my team for carrying me, cause this ish was HARD). Cute, cozy place, nice ambience. They had an AMAZING special going on: burger, fries AND a cocktail for $20. I wasn't even that hungry, but this was a no-brainer. And the LAVENDER HIGH is an included cocktail in this special, which is the one specific drink I knew I was coming here for (remember, lavender or pear ya'll). Other Yelpers have mentioned it and so am I; GET IT. It was everything I thought it would be. Sweet, tasteful quality, easy to drink, strong. The burger was also quite juicy, thinner patties a la Shake Shack-style, delicious. I added truffle to my fries and they still tasted pretty basic to me, but 2/3 of the fantastic special ain't bad. Waitress was also SUPER attentive.

Told my friend to meet me there for a few drinks. She got there and i was 10 minutes away. That entire time she hadn't been greeted or helped. When i got there, i couldn't believe she waited that long. It was happy hour . All the seats were filled at the bar and only one bartender. Finally he came for us the drinks and we also ordered food. He did tell us the Mac and cheese had kale. We still decided to try it. The drinks were good and strong. The Mac and cheese wasn't great. Just the top was very crunchy i love that. The chicken nachos were good. The chicken was absolutely amazing lots of flavor and juicy. Not enough chips for the bowl. The cheese was like a sauce i usually don't like when places do that but I guess with the guacamole and chicken it wasn't bad. But i didn't like it had corn in it. We asked for water then had to wait forever to get refills. Finally another bartender came. We asked for the bill and then they were conversing which felt like forever . Like omg it even took long to pay. Then to top it off the lady next to me was with a gentleman. She got up to use the bathroom and she had a dog with her. I was like WHAT!!! And it was a decent size dog. It never barked or anything. We wouldn't have noticed. But a dog where I'm eating. Nah!!! That sealed the deal. Sorry won't be coming back.

I came in late to join a huge group of friends. Oh my goodness. We wanted to celebrate a birthday, and the staff brought out a round of shots with a sparkler thing that was so fun! I found that my favorite cocktail was the lavender lemon drop. So good. Deliciously sweet.

How would I describe the interior? Modern, cozy, relaxed. Incandescent bulbs. Random disco ball. Neon lights. The music here was old school rap, top 40, Taylor Swift, Kesha, Coi Leray, etc. It is fun to dance and shake it. They even had a live DJ which was super cool, and the highlight of the evening!

There is a spot in the back with a bar, and I saw someone have a big party in the back, so I sense this is a fun spot to get lit.
Fair warning: The bathroom in the middle is not as clean as the ones in the very back which are so nice.
The volume of the music gets increasingly louder to have a conversation after 11 PM.
The service was alright. You have to aggressively really flag down someone, since it was so busy and super packed inside. Our water was refilled many times but different people.
The fries were okay. Some of them were really tiny pieces.
The wings are spicy. That's how the birthday boy liked them...but not me.

We got there late. The doorman/bouncer was very kind. We were carded and told we can sit anywhere we want and he went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. The DJ was playing really good music. They had a nice disco ball and strobe lighting. We sat there for a while waiting for some service. I just went over to the bar and ordered drinks. They were out of the drink I wanted. We got an espresso martini which was good. I chose to go for the piña colada since they didn't have the drink I wanted to try. It turned out to be a lot more expensive than the drink I wanted which I wish I knew and it didn't taste all that great either. It was a good time regardless of all that with the music and the lightning and the chill vibes.

Handcraft combines superb cocktail creations, notably the Witch Craft and Spring Cocktail, with an appetizing bites menu, highlighted by the filling Chicken Tenders and creamy Mac and Cheese. To top it off, the immersive atmosphere is amplified by a fantastic music selection that resonates. A truly gratifying experience - strongly recommended! The service was also great everyone was very friendly.
