Where can I make a reservation?
A:
Hi they don't accept reservations it's usually just walk ins and the wait time is never long even when you request outside seating ocean view. I have never waited over 15 minutes max.

Great spot! We sat by the bar and Josh was our waiter/bartender. He was so helpful! Gave us tips on what to order and what's in season. He even made the best raspberry mojito.
Tip: get the swordfish if they have it . My god they know how to cook up a fresh catch.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 10, 2024
Garcia's is unlike most restaurants in Miami -- you enter a fish market and to get to the restaurant, head upstairs in a narrow staircase. Upstairs there's an open bar / dining room area and a nice patio over the Miami river. The restaurant is very casual and no-frills whatsoever but the food is delicious.
We got the seafood gumbo and absolutely loved it! It was saffron flavored and was delicious. There's a great variety of other fish, most of which is caught locally depending on the time of year.
I'd recommend this place for anyone who likes really good seafood and cares more about getting fresh fish than a fancy settingHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nayr G.Manhattan, NY23776Dec 24, 2023
When in Florida, trying the Stone Crab is a must, and Garcia's Seafood Grille is the perfect spot to savor fresh stone crab claws in a casual, relaxed environment.
We arrived around opening time and opted to sit outside in the patio area to enjoy the beautiful sunny weather overlooking Miami's seaside. The staff was very friendly and helped us decide which type of stone crab would best suit our tastes. The staff stated that the smaller the size of the stone crab claw, the sweeter it was. Opting for the large stone crab claws struck a perfect balance between size and sweetness. While we did try a few other entrees, the claws were consistently in the spotlight. The Dijon aioli dipping sauce served with the claws added a tasty dimension to the freshness of the stone crab.
If you find yourself in Miami, Garcia's is the go-to place for exceptional stone crab claws.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 1, 2023
You ought to dine at Garcia's if you happen to be in Miami! The food is all fresh and delicious! Beautifully presented as well. We enjoyed everything we ate at this place. No leftovers!
You get a great view when you sit at the balcony. You'll see the river, the boats and the lovely people in them, and the sky as it changes color as the sun sets. The rustic, nautical decor adds charm to this place. You enter through their seafood bar/market, climb a set of wooden stairs and have the option to sit indoors or at the balcony.
It's a chill, laid back place. The staff were helpful and friendly. I didn't like how my main course was cooked and they gave me a new one without much ado. They also asked whether i wanted to order something else free of charge.
Excellent food, service and views!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 30, 2023
Omg omg omg!!! What a delight to have found this restaurant. Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic. It is not often that EACH item ordered is delicious but in the case of Garcia's, this was absolutely true.
Hubby and I started with the ceviche and the chowder. The chowder was creamy, comforting and flavorful. The ceviche was pure perfection!!!! Citrusy punch, combined with the freshness of the ingredients, the zing of the onions - this ceviche was absolutely a delight to the tastebuds.
Hubby followed this up with grilled lobster tail, with Cajun seasoning. This lobster was juicy and tender, and the seasoning was on point. I had the butterfly snapper with lobster ravioli. The ravioli wasn't exactly appetizing to the eyes, but my GOD, the taste was perfection. The crab mix on top of my snapper was flavorful and yummy, and the snapper itself was cooked well without having been dried out. Post dinner, we both ordered a cafecito (and no dessert because we were so stuffed) and this little cup of coffee was the perfect bow atop this perfect gift of a meal!
The atmosphere is comfortable and loud, kind of like being at a busy family home, and our serve Jimmy was such a sweetheart. Excellent service!
I'd definitely return here for excellent food!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Frank Z.Fort Lauderdale, FL2311May 4, 2024
Food is ok, kind of the same as I was cooking at home.
For the price, not worth it.
Service: Yurimar the waitress was great, she is very knowledgeable about the food, gave us good advice.
Everyone was friendly
Ambiance: is ok, I would expect better for the price. Music can go from spanish reguetón to classic american rock with bad sound, with speakers from the 80's. I can argue there is little investment.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ralph G.FL, FL0161May 4, 2024

A childhood staple, from the ambiance, worn in wooden tables, and the smell of fresh caught fish-this spot brings back all the memories, This time we opted for the small grilled seafood entree. My friend didn't like calamari, so we asked if they could sub it. They were so nice and ended up doubling up on the grilled shrimp (which i was not mad about!) for $38 you get the entree and 2 sides (they don't skimp out here). Great deal if you ask me + we had left overs service was pretty slow, but friendly staff regardless, so just be patient. Octopus was tough so wouldn't order that again. Other than that I was a happy camper

Rare find! Was recommended this place by a local bartender and it did NOT disappoint!! We weren't sure when we had to walk into a fish market and through the back, up the stairs, but then it opened up to this beautiful restaurant right on the pier. So relaxing. Would be great for a date night or time with friends. I happened to be on a business dinner that night and it worked out well. Allll the food was spectacular. I just wish my stomach and wallet were big enough for every item. Definitely come here if you want to impress :)
