It's opened at 5 AM, ordering fresh donuts about $16 for one dozen varieties, also they sell coffee and sandwiches, perfect for an office meeting, everyone loves this place and I came see why, definitely come back for more in the future

This is the no frills old school donut shop.... Just the way I like it! Just give me simple deliciously made donuts!
But OMG! How early do you really have to get here?!? It's sucks that you'd have to wake up at 6 am on the weekend to have your pick of any donut you wanted. But at even 6 am, there's a line and donuts are flying out the door! They are that good! Average pricing, a single classic donut is $1.50. They also have croissants, my fav is the ham and cheese.
If you're an early bird, come here for the donuts! Come prepared and know what you want to order, they will disappear if you wait to order. Bring cash. Cards are accepted but there is a $0.50 charge to use it. Bonus, it's right next to Starbucks!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 1 - Cecilia O.Long Beach, CA02Feb 14, 2024
Salespeople are not friendly. I never felt comfortable buying there donuts coz they're always in a rush to get your order and keep asking " what else" "anything else" (if you ask questions what's in the bun they look unhappy)even if there weren't any other costumers. No patience and somewhat rude.

I was looking for a place close by that sold iced Vietnamese and lo and behold there was one around the corner from me and it did not disappoint! It was delicious. I only go to one other place for it but this is right up there. I also went for an Apple fritter but it wasn't ready yet (I came a little after opening) so I'll be back for sure!

I have been in search of a new donut shop and had to give it a try. I got a chocolate frosted and chocolate cake donut. I bit into the chocolate frosted donut and it felt like I was biting into a cloud. Absolute perfection, from there I moved to the chocolate cake donut which is a tough task for donut shops to conquer, fresh golden donuts went above and beyond with their rendition of the chocolate cake donut. I then got a Vietnamese iced coffee and as soon as I took a sip, I felt like I was on the streets of Hanoi. Every single thing about this shop was perfect and I will recommend it to anyone and everyone.

The donuts tasted decent, standard and nothing special. However the service needed improvement. The woman behind the counter was very pushy and I was rushed. Like she was cutting me off mid sentence. Which made no sense because I was the only one in there ordering. I am not sure why she was in such a hurry.
I also immediately had the runs after eating the donuts. I had two donuts and I had to call back and see what type of oil they used (which is palm). I am not allergic to it so I am not sure why they upset my stomach.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 29, 2021
Best donuts I've had. I've been to so many donut places around San Diego and I kid you not these are a step above the rest. I don't think I've ever had a bad donut here and I've been at this place for years. Even when they don't have my go-to (Cinnamon Roll and glazed donut holes), I'm always able to get something I like. The women who work behind the counter are super nice, too!
This place is always clean and I never have to wait long to get my donuts. Every once in a while I do see a lot of customers but it's always quick.
Don't go to those expensive, hipster places like Donut Bar or Nomad (the latter of which I find highly overrated). Save your pennies and come here instead!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vero G.Oceanside, CA26117516Jul 7, 2022Updated review
Mi lugar favorito de donas. Siempre frescas, siempre sabrosas.

The best donuts, hands down! BUT they run out fast, stop you do have to get there early if you want a larger selection (usually before 8:30 on weekends). My favorites are the apple fritter and chocolate old fashioned.
