Florentine Pizzeria Ristorante & Sports Lounge

Flo's!! An underrated spot in Grand Rapids with good Italian "sports bar" foods. Plenty of TVs on with all types of sports available to watch. It was packed and pretty fun when I came here during March Madness for college basketball.

Their lunch buffet is honestly unmatched. SO many options for pizza and they always have 4-6 sides plus a salad bar on their buffet + occasionally a dessert. Their pizza is some of my favorite I've had in the city. I like their service staff and since I work close to here, my coworkers and I come here quite often and I've really never had a bad experience. They are fast on refilling drinks as well.

They also have an online ordering option where you can pick up from the a designated take out counter/side room at the front of restaurant. I like to take out crispy chicken salads for lunch from here because they have super good ranch + chicken tenders.

:-( Floretines, Floretines, Floretines tisk tisk! :-( WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? You pizza USED to be one of the best in town... unfortunately now the meager cardboard tasting crust with non existent toppings and cheese :-( what a DISAPPOINTMENT & Disservice to this community! I ordered a
14inch supreme pizza, on a Thursday night mind you, it was All most $30. Okay, I love pizza I said to myself. Picked it up,which is a nightmare because of parking, brought it home, opened the box and ..... there it was this sad little pizza. NOTHING special. THAT once delicious crust now destroyed by a cardboard tasting hardness. THAT once oozing with cheese and toppings delicious smelling pizza... was NOT IN THIS BOX! The topping's Notta' the cheese???? What cheese? I will give them one star because the sauce is still the same and it's delicious. However, if I wanted cardboard covered with delicious sauce I could make that at home. Nostalgia a side. STEER CLEAR of Flo's if your looking for a great pizza. I'll stick with Vitale's from now on.

Nice selection on the menu, and sometimes have some decent specials. They do really well catering to big groups.

This review is based on a quick visit for a drink and snack. My friend and I met here for a quick drink. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. Large bar in the middle of the room with TVs. We order Lee a couple of beers, service was good. We shared an app of their smallest portion of wings (regular or boneless choices). They have 3 different portion sizes of wings and a handful of sauces. We opted for half Buffalo and honey BBQ. They were out of Asian ginger. The wings were delicious, nicely flavored and crispy fried skin. I was impressed. The only thing the plate lacked was some carrots and celery.

We love this location. The pizza is great. But we really love the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. Always tender chicken with still crisp breading & lots of wonderful cheese on top. Salad & garlic bread is always top notch too. The wait staff is very good & attentive even during busy GAME days. Prices are very reasonable too.

Sofi is the best Hands Down. She has the inner & outer beauty that is amazing.

This is one of my favorite places to go in town. The food is great (and consistent) with just enough diversity in the menu to mix it up from time to time. I've been coming here for years, initially because it's close to my house, but the food and the staff keep bringing me back. I've always had good service here and often it's amazing. Just a bunch of people who do a great job. It's where I go on Friday when I've had a bad week because I know I'll have a good meal and the staff is going to be nice. I love it here.

Florentine's used to be a great italian sports bar. My last two visits were disappointing. There was literally no meat in their "Meat Sauce". I questioned the waitress if it was indeed the meat sauce showing here there was no meat. Her response was "yes that is the meat sauce, I see what you mean" but took no initiative to remedy this. Their pizza used to be amazing. It is nothing special anymore. Not worth the visit for what you get.

Something has changed here. Having dined here at lunch time for 20 years off and on this restaurant was always busy with a great selection of Italian food. After visiting this place this week the food was not good, the salad bar mediocre, and the wait staff not very attentive. If you want Italian food in a buffet find some place else.

Ordered a chicken tender salad add croutons for delivery was able to get a fresh salad in less than 30 minutes this is one of my favorite salads in the Kentwood area
