DMP Sports Bar & Grill

I arrived in Mesquite Texas and it was storming pretty hard. Enough to where I didn't bother to venture downtown. Wanted a drink and found the nearest bar. I doorman was very friendly and welcomed me in. However, it took forever to be acknowledged to order something. There were two girls working the bar. It wasn't very busy but the attention to customers was almost impossible. The girls were borderline rude and came off as if they were bothered when you're trying to order. Place is definitely a dive bar and most likely you'll have a better service if you're a regular.

Don't know exactly how long this place has been open but it's a small little neighborhood bar. Go drink, play pool and just socialize with random smokers.

I've been here 2x and it's been pretty chill, no drama and the owner is pretty cool.

Pool is about $6-$7/hr
Buckets are $24?

Not sure if they really have drink "specials"

*if you don't like the smell of cigarettes then don't even come in ( not chili's smell either, I mean Just crack the door open and be consumed in Cigarette smell lol )

Sweet owner, shook hands upon arrival. No food at this location. Decent priced. Small little dive with clean pool tables and attentive bartenders! Happy with this little find. Cute little spot.

The Asian owner here is so sweet! her work ethic for this business is astonishing and i love the atmosphere here!

The bar is a nice atmosphere but the service was terrible. It took a really long time to get a drink. Exactly everything that I ordered and I ordered from different shelves of liquor they charged me $11. Maybe because I'm black and they didn't want me to come back well i wont be back so goal achieved. Maybe they thought I didn't have the money but I also did. Maybe they didn't think I was not going to tip so they took their tip out of every drink that I ordered. I've been drinking a long time out of a lot of bars this is not the place for me. They don't ever have to worry about me coming back

It's ok if your a regular I guess other than it's not too appealing the bartenders huddle together chit chatting rather than serving or checking on customers

wanted to relax and have a beer but that didnt happen because the door man and waitress were smoking weed right next to me

Cool little neighborhood sports bar. Pool tables, tv's, juke box(sometimes DJ), good drink selection/ bar, smoking permitted.
