I could not be happier with the delivery service and all the staff involved with that, from the manager, Steve, who took my first phone order (when I was desperate during COVID for certain items missing from my large grocery order elsewhere), and had the items to me in 30 minutes (!) . . . to the woman who has taken my order over the phone the next three times . . . to the delivery people -- all VERY nice. Free local delivery over $50. Cold cuts are fresher than the bigger store, and fresh bakery rolls also great.

Absurdly expensive. I said it before but the owner asked me to take down my review. This place is beyond a rip off. I only come there for 99c items. Items are a dollar more than the city. I was told its the supplier, blah blah. BS. I can go up to white plains road and get the same products cheaper. Organic or natural products they jack the prices up almost 5$.
I shop at farmers markets, ACME and Whole Foods (which are both cheaper...crazy!!)
The 2 stars are for the cashiers. Except the young spanish girl (she has glasses). I avoid her line altogether. Rude AF, not polite, attitude giving change or asking any questions. Check yourself boo.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Margot S.New York, NY01Sep 21, 2022
I called to see if they had a product but without me even saying what I was looking for they said that they don't have it then they just hung up. Very rude. I wish I could do the exact same to whoever did that to me.

I can not express my hatred for this store. They know there isn't much to choose from as far as "grocery" stores go. The prices are way to high and they never have anything. Its like the crappy store manager see what product is popular and stops ordering them. If I could give it -5 stars that would still be generous. Its no wonder the employees are unhappy.
Their is one bright spot. I dont know her name but she has red hair. She is very nice, the rest not so much
I guess I need to go to Acme from now on.
God I hate this store!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Feb 2, 2021Previous reviewThe favorite part about this place? Well its not that everything is way over priced, its not because they always have people stacking the shelves and yet have no product.
My favorite part is how they say screw you to the customers by saying there is a ban on plastic bags, but are happy to sell you plastic bags. And the poor cashiers have to jam everything in one bag smashing everything in the plastic bag that was banned.
Awesome stuff.Sep 4, 2020Previous reviewI would give it more stars based on the cashiers, they are always friendly and nice. The problem i have are the prices. $10 for a pound of ground beef? They have more people stocking shelves then people and yet they never seem to have anything on stock.

I haven't used Yelp in ages, but this place needs a review. The only reason I would come here is location. Otherwise, the produce is usually dull, this store has very limited selection, and the prices are RIDICULOUS. Not even justifiably ridiculous, but really mad pricing. Buyer beware, there are other places nearby that are WAY cheaper

this store is terrible always crap everywhere that needs to be stocked no matter what time you go they need to stock the store at night. when closed. it's a tiny store with pillars in the way. some of the staff is very helpful the rest need to be let go they need to stock the store at night again it is too small of a store to have crap stacked all over the dang isles and also pillars in the way also extra junk in the isles that they can't fit on the shelves just a complete disaster and expensive only go at night late, or early in the Morning.....

Good local supermarket. I go here for small shopping & when I need to pick up stuff here & there. I usually do my big shopping at Stop & Shop but there are a few things that are cheaper here like the 5 lb bag of Idaho potatoes.
I've noticed that some things are mis-marked. The price on the item is sometimes different than what I'm charged (& not in my favor of course).Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bridget B.Bronx, NY210145Feb 10, 2014
Brand new! They re-opened on February 7th, 2014! Fresh produce, re-designed deli section with hot food, sandwiches, salad bar and more! Great selection of quality meats and cheeses-- bakery section with fresh bread.
Great to have this back in the neighborhood!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Leigh M.Oceanport, NJ1117760Nov 18, 2014
The reason for the three stars is simply this :
Location: Amazing for me so the convenience factor really is the only thing that keeps me coming back.
Staff: Is nice and attentive, this weekend I bought something that was seven days expired and they took it right back gave me my money and then cleared the shelves of that item...that still should not of happened for such a small market but at-least they were proactive about it and next time I will be more careful about dates and quality in this place.
Selection: Its limited to a certain extent but like I said it comes through in the clutch and sometimes I get surprised when they have certain things.
Price: Overall I find it to be a little on the expensive side, but i know i know I'm paying for convenience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
