Took my order and didn't even take five minutes to get it and head home. Personnel were nice but the server needed to speak up
But she did quick service .Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apple B.San Francisco, CA377127Oct 23, 2023
The person at the drive thru on Sunday night 10-22-23 around 8:45pm made everyone wait 10 feet behind the drive thru window. We thought the person in front of us wasn't paying attention so we honked. Then when it was our turn, she yelled "Wait, I have your impossible burger right here." When we got to the window, she got mad and said, " I told you to wait over there, but you pulled up to the window anyway. Next time pay attention." None of us heard her say wait there. She only said wait, but we know we have to wait anyway so we were fine with waiting. The worker was very rude and this is the first time any restaurant won't let us pull up to the window and got mad when we didn't stay 10 feet behind it. Maybe they're doing illegal activities in the kitchen and don't want people to see. They shouldn't be treating customers that way. They also didn't have any ice cream or shakes.

If the drive thru personnel are going to start directing the drive thru flow like cross guards, I think Burger King should invest in a cross guard gate device like they have at train stops and car washes. This would eliminate the drive thru employees from hanging out the window, waving their hands in S.O.S mode to signal the driver, and yelling aloud/cat calling at customers. Also, sometimes you are allowed to drive forward and pay, they take your money and then you are asked to put your vehicle in reverse and back up to a certain line using man made hand signals and yelling (I GUESS TO STOP THE WAIT TIME CLOCK) but they will tell you for safety. Someone almost ran into the front of my car doing this. Mc Donald's at least ask you to pull forward and the employee would bring your purchase out to you. Chick Fil A, Panera, Subway, Wendy's, or any other competitors would never do that to customers. At least a posting/signage alerting customers that this is part of your practice would be nice. I thought it was just one specific location in Gretna,La but this must be what is taught to employee.

Very disappointing visit! I was excited when
I saw that Burger King was taking a risk and trying something new on their menu.
So, I went by to order their new menu item, tacos and left extremely deflated. I am so not a BK fan, I would only stop by every red moon (lol) okay, every blue moon, for a double cheeseburger, onion rings or a half cut iced tea. This latest visit was beyond despicable and almost disintegrated my love for tacos.
I'm all for businesses going out on a limb, trying something new but c'mon BK, is this what you serve your customers? This is NOT how the crunchy taco is suppose to look and I'm sure Mexico is not happy about this either.
I bought four but didn't touch not a one after opening it and seeing that mess. In the garbage they all went as well as my $4. I didn't bother returning them because I don't plan on returning back there. Oh well, such is life!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Matthew V.New Orleans, LA126201Apr 18, 2023
It took fifteen minutes with a line of six people to get the order. There also is no escape from the line if you want to bail. Then the order itself, a single sandwich gave me to worse stomach problems

Yet another horrible experience at a fast food drive-thru. I waited patiently to place my order. I placed my order with the employee, verified with her that it was correct, drove to the window and verified the order again. As I handed the bag to my nephew, THE ORDER WAS INCORRECT! I had to address my order with the employee twice! I understand that there may be an employee shortage, but that's not an excuse for sub-par customer service, unappetizing, cold product and disrespect. Something HAS to be done about the quality of customer service.

Third time's the charm I guess. Now, you'll be hearing from my Attorney and hopefully they'll close the hell hole and put a useful respectable business with actual customer service in its place. I ordered..today.. said no mayo 3 times loud as hell because a person in my party has a severe allergy. Still I waste my money and not get what I've paid for. If I didn't check the food before handing it out; I'd be at the emergency room with a kid fighting for his life so.. thank you once again for not caring, not listening and feeling forced to do your job. Please know... you're not forced... you can quit and let someone that wants to work have a job. Nice job on not having your mask on as well... looking forward to never seeing you again (except for in court)

If you want cold bread, cold cheese, no even warm hamburger meat, employees that don't have a care in the world and are illiterate....then Burger King on Terry Pkwy is the place you need to be
Seriously, this place has been terrible for many years now and it's surprising that it's still here. When I lived on the westbank, I might have had 1 or 2 times that this place was actually quick, friendly and the food tasted as it should. Owner/Management need to either let this franchise go and move it to a different location. The workforce around that area is terribleHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marielle S.New Orleans, LA20022997222Aug 17, 2015Updated review
The worst! You go and order and ask them specifically to not include certain condiments- they don't listen. Then they tell you there is going be a wait for you to get your food. They ask you to back up your car, because there is a pressure plate at the drive thru window that is timing how fast they get the food to you. When you back up, it resets. Apparently the manager doesn't like them to take longer than a minute on each customer, so their solution is to cheat the system by telling customers to roll off of the pressure plate.
Also, their highway sign is never on and lit up and I complained about it to HQ months ago . I think the employees leave it off because they don't want to be bothered with serving customers at night. It's easier to make people think you're closed.
Shady sneaks who don't deserve your business.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0May 5, 2012Previous reviewIt's a Burger King. How do you review a Burger King? They are all the same.
Well, it's number 3 for a reason. The food is "meh", even when it's the best it's ever been. Whoppers aren't big anymore and the fries can't compare to McD's. They do a good breakfast and I do come here to get my favorite: a croissanwich with the little bite size hash browns. - Scarleth G.LA, LA02Jun 15, 2021
