This place was so great!! We arrived at around 8 on Wednesday and it was fairly busy but they luckily had a table for us. Once seated they immediately came with water and we gave our drink order. We decided what to eat fairly quickly so when they came back they were ready to take our order! I feel like from sitting down to receiving our food it took maybe 10 minutes. Definitely the quickest service and exactly what we needed because we were so hungry! The food was incredible! They are very small portions so they recommend 2-3 per person. We also got the chef's sushi selection and it was so yummy, the fish was so fresh! I was afraid I wouldn't be full but after the meal I was perfectly full. The whole vibe of the restaurant was also great! Busy but not overwhelming and beautiful plates and presentation of the food! Would recommend!

While visiting Belfast we were lost looking for a restaurant that apparently closed down and stumbled onto this place. A local was standing outside and told us to eat here. It was the best. So we loved it so much we ate there twice in 3 days. Consider a reservation as it is busy. We ordered a ton of food to share and everything was so delicious. Service was awesome. Hope to one day return to Belfast and to Yugo.

The drinks were fantastic. The food was middling. The service was weird-good, then bad, then great, then awful. We had four different service staff. Two were polite but not attentive, one was absent but seemed nice enough, the other was just confusing.

I would try it again for happy hour and sit at the bar.

I would have given it 5 star if I had left the restaurant full But I guess I have a bigger appetite!
The food on the other hand, even with the mini quantity, was super delicious! I tried the softshell crab bun and the salmon!
I loved how crunchy and juicy the crab was with a hint of spicy!!

Food was amazing. Service was okay. Probably my favorite restaurant in Belfast or top 3. Loved the cured salmon and the fried chicken thigh inside the lettuce wrap. Also loved the braised short rib but could do without the soup. Will definitely be back here again and hoping to get friendlier service/waiter.

Had a family dinner tonight (Thursday 8 December 2016) in Yugo. It was a great experience. Fantastic to see quite a few really superb vegetarian options on the menu including tofu. Plus we were delighted to discover chips are cooked in soya bean oil not animal fat.

I ate vegetarian but I reckon if asked they could easily veganise dishes. Although Yugo is Asian Fusion our Waitress advised us that their Chefs don't use fish stock/sauce in any dish - instead it's a vegetarian alternative.

We had a feast of Graw Po Tofu, Chips with Belfast Curry, Roast Brussels with Cranberry, Chilli & Mint and Tofu Pad Thai. Everything was uniquely flavoured and absolutely delicious. Yugo menu doesn't clearly mark dishes as vegetarian or vegan (would love to see this) but staff were super helpful answering all our questions and pointing out the veggie options.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. All my family loved it and we can't wait to return for another beautiful meal. Currently there just isn't another restaurant quite like this in Belfast offering such a perfect combination of fine Asian food, quality veggie options, pleasant staff and warm decor. Desserts are Devine as well ;-)

Having seen photos of YuGo we were keen on giving it a go. So we decided to head down on a Friday evening (9th December), obviously with it being a Friday we thought we better book so I dropped YuGo a message to see if we could get a table for two. Something to note is that at the minute they don't offer a booking service, walk ins only. But they guarantee you won't be waiting too long.

With that all sorted we arrived at about 7:30pm and to our delight we were shown to a vacant table. The decor is incredible, it has all the trappings of a typical Asian restaurant but with a modern minimal twist, hanging authentic lampshades dominate the entrance creating a welcoming ambiance. The seating arrangement is great, making great use of the small space and giving the option to sit along the bar. I say bar but this is actually a window in to an open plan kitchen. Seeing the chefs cooking is an experience in itself and I think this is a fantastic idea.

Once we were seated we were approached by the friendliest of staff (they all seemed to be super chipper and well drilled), she explained the menu which is broken down in to 'smalls, 'bigs' and 'desserts'. After reading the menu and hearing the specials we decided to go for Pork Dumplings & Bao Bun followed by Belfast Curry and a special that wasn't on the menu but was described as an Asian KFC (See the pics). We were advised that the food would come as it was ready which wasn't a problem for us.

When the food came we couldn't have been more impressed. The dumplings were some of the best I've ever had, I wish they came in a 'big'. My main was an absolute masterpiece. 3 huge bits of chicken (2 wings and 1 breast) that had been breaded and lightly spiced in asian salt and chilli. They came with a gravy that will blow your mind - it was like the KFC kind with an asian kick - I can't describe just how amazing it was, I was fully tempted to pour it in to my pint glass and just drink it straight.

The biggest compliment I can give YuGo is that you don't feel like you're dining in Belfast - This is Michelin star restaurant food without the pomp and ceremony but with the incredible style and service!

Great place for Asian fusion. Lots of flavors without being overwhelming. Good selection of small and big dishes. Although I didn't order the sushi the group next time really enjoyed it so I'll try that on my next visit. I don't have much to complain about. Staff was attentive and helpful. Music was a little loud but enjoyable didn't have to talk too much over it. Cocktails were very good and unique. I had the Massaman short rib curry with fried rice and boa buns to start. All very good and I would recommend them. My kid was with us and he was well taken care of even though it was not necessarily a kid friendly place. All in all I think it's an A-plus place to meet with friends or on a date.

(Note: Not written by me) Oh I have an idea. How about YU GO to YuGo because it's flipping delicious. Had the bao duck and bao chicken. I liked the duck the best. My bf likes the chicken but he's an idiot. All jokes aside, though, both were delicious. So you can't go wrong. Next we had the Panang curry. Seriously...so good. I don't love super spicy stuff because my mom is Irish and the only add-one we ever had in our food was butter and salt, so this was perfect for me. My BF said it wasn't spicy enough for him, but then five minutes later, he was complaining that his shaved head was sweating. So whatever. Also got a few sides just so we could try more things. The fried rice was amazeballs. Have never had fried rice with ham and peas. I guess thats where the euro fusion comes in? Fancy. It was so good. I wish I had scooped the rest into my fanny pack to take with us on our hike to the Mourne Mountains tomorrow. But alas, I will have to settle for some dumb white girl snack like granola or dried mango. Got the cabbage salad too and the halibut in an attempt to stay healthy. It was amazing too. Definitely will come back if I'm ever in Belfast again.
