My mom came in here today to get an estimate. We have Hunter Douglas blinds in our house, and thought we'd shop locally to get an estimate to replace our current ones.
Well froget about that, the gal was very nice, but my mom called us crying saying the owner was beyond rude and abusive with his words.

We will be filing a complaint with Hunter Douglas, so that they take you off of their reputable dealers. The owner was interrogative and demeaning against a senior, which is abusive behavior. He said he "doesn't get good vibes" from my mom. Mind you, my mom is in her 70s, and we will make sure we or anyone we know will never shop here.

Have you ever done an extraordinarily huge project in your house? *raises hand* You know it can be so exciting but at the same time your project can make you or break you depending on who you're working with.

I worked with Warren's about 6 years ago to carpet my art studio in a freaking fabulous leopard print carpet. It came out flippin' gorgeous! It's my only carpeted room in my house so I went all out. Here's the thing though....these guys were on point for the entire project. They were always on time. They always came when they promised. They made the experience simplified and easy. No mistakes. Nary an error. I asked if they could also install baseboards for me after the carpeting was finished and they did that too with perfection.

So my new project is wayyyy bigger. Entire house new hardwood flooring. I call. Can I come pick out a floor and then you guys come and give me estimate? Yes! I get there and I love.love.love. the Karistan Wood. Just Oh.My.Wow.! The samples are a great size and I ask can I borrow 3 to take home to see which I'm going to like best? Just like before...sure you can! Just amazing customer service!

Priscilla has been my salesperson. I started with her on the phone and she's been amazingly helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable. Ask for her if you pay them a visit! Highly recommend!

The store is very clean. Everything is highly organized into categories which makes the shopping experience such a joy! All employees there wore masks and there was available hand sanitizer.

We just did a kitchen remodel and decided to change flooring in foyer, and powder room also. We are so LOVING our floors! Warren Clark has a great selection, and the crew that came out kept our house tidy during demo and install. We couldn't be happier!!

Nightmare!
Our experience with Warren Clark's was horrible.
The price was very high, but their quality or workmanship and customer service didn't correlate. Very poor workmanship and really bad customer service.
They quickly installed and failed to follow industry standards. We now have uneven flooring throughout the house with spongy area and ridges. These are problems from them not properly preparing the surface before installing flooring.
Warren tried BSing me to believe that it's a "floating floor", so it's standard. The truth is that the manufacturer even has requirements about how much variation is allowed and this isn't even close.
After the flooring was installed, the toilet was installed. Since, we've been dealing with sewage leaks when flushing the toilet.

We tried multiple times to work with them to resolve the issues, but had horrible results. I posted my story and timeline, but pulled it when I got a threatening letter from their lawyer claiming that I'm posting slanderous statements online. So instead of fixing things, they threaten me for what I see is only to protect their reputation.
I removed the reviews, but later felt I needed to tell my story again to protect other homeowners. I have reworded it to avoid having to protect myself against slander claims by their lawyer.
I have since been contacting their bonding company and the California State License Board.
I have had inspectors out and the reports came back positive that they did poor workmanship.

The CSLB has mandated they attend a hearing in the coming weeks.

Be careful who you hire. And just because they are at the higher end of the quotes, does not mean they are the best. We are now looking to have our entire house redone with flooring, which is not easy. Especially while living there and having furniture in every room.

I started with Warren Clark in 1967 with our first home. The consistency and friendliness has been throughout the years. His staff is dependable and they do what they say they will do and at the price quoted. I can't say enough about the entire family and staff! his employees have been with him for 40-50 years, that say a lot about their work ethic and commitment to each other! Their work is awesome and professional. I recommend them highly to anyone who is considering any home improvement that they service!!!

This company did an excellent job installing new carpet in our home this spring. Yes, it took several weeks for the three carpets to arrive, but supply chain issues are tough this year. The installation team was prompt, cheerful, efficient, and professional. They did NOT play loud music. One young installer even helped me return a washed bedskirt to the king bed before putting the mattress back after they had moved the bed to install the carpet. Weeks later, everything looks fine!

The measure of a business is how they deal with conflicts/misunderstanding/ disagreements and I must say we as customers knowing nothing about flooring thought there were problems with our project when in fact, they are typical for the job. If there was a suggestion, I say provide a one sheet to educate customers of what to expect. We made the mistake of not waiting until the project was completed before getting concerned about the progress of our flooring.

Our experience was positive and I was perfectly pleased with how Warren made sure the work was completed from start to finish. He takes pride and I also want to thank Albert for his professionalism and workmanship.

Home improvement is bound to have its highs and lows (and surprises), but it's good know there are still businesses that care to make sure their customers are well taken care. Thanks again and look forward to our next flooring project!

First of all, being a small business owner myself, I am all about supporting other small/family ran businesses. Working with this business was such a great experience. I was in the need of blinds for my learning center and they came to my business and helped me select the best option for my needs. They took the measurements and the blinds were installed in no time. They product and service was perfect. I highly reccomend this family owned business.

Passing through Upland on my way to Orange County, I made a quick stop at this business with little to no expectations. I've been looking to purchase a rug but haven't found one I fell in love with. Not only did they provide top notch customer service, but they didn't make me feel like I was conversing with a person with a sales based agenda. I just recently received my order -which came in a lot earlier than their expectant date. They are definitely a gem- I highly recommend.
