This is the second time i ever been to walmart. I been to the one in long Island one time now this one..
But i was curious about where my online orders come from since i live in the city and there is no walmart here besides this one
Let me start off by saying it isnt as bad as social media makes it seem.. but even though this walmart is big its still kinda crowded. They have to many customers to have the aisles blocked off with things they should have in a storage space. It is pretty clean but workers cant really be found. There is one gentleman that was able to help me but the rest of the people when i did find any didnt know anything and i thought that wasnt good.
The security lady at front with the pink her was a big help. She seen i was disabled and helped me out
The worse thing i seen so far is being hound by the men outside.. waiting on my ride they most have ask me ten times if i need or want a taxi & the fight that nearly broke out outside..Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael G.KEW GARDEN HL, NY16131May 9, 2024

I rarely review, let alone shop, at big box stores.. but I found such a good deal on a few items here that I couldn't locate anywhere else this week and couldn't resist.
I was in dire need of a usb-c to hdmi cable for my home office's external monitor and all the other stores either had them at either 2x the price or simply didn't have the one I wanted in-stock. In an addition to the hdmi slot, this particular unit they had also has a micro + macro sd card slot, two USB 2.0 slots and one USB 3.0 slots.. for only about $28!
While there, the sweet score put me in such a good mood that I ended up browsing the aisles in search of random camping supplies (cold weather camping is my new obsession). I quickly spotted the one remaining portable Coleman Camping Stove and purchased it at the incredibly cheap price of only $24 (plus a butane can for only $3.xx).
In my limited experience of shopping at Walmart, I suggest going towards closing time to avoid the long lines at self-checkout.Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Amanda L.CA, CA021Dec 17, 2023
Absolute WORST experience! If I could give it ZERO stars I would! I checked in and waited for 30 minutes!! Then decided -I'm going inside to get my suitcase -this is ridiculous! Keep in mind, there was one person that was there before me, still waiting. I go inside, and the guy doesn't even look at me! I say excuse me, is anyone working here? He says...huh? Doesn't even look at me still! I say again, is anyone working here? And STILL, without looking at me, says, oh yeah, he's working here- and goes back to jacking around- literally- just talking to somebody else-The other guy comes up, and I say...yes, I have a order that was supposed be taken to my car, and I've been waiting out there for 30 minutes. He didn't even apologize! Just said, what's the last name... and I told him, he went and got it, and I was like... is everything inside the suitcase... because it was three items, so I just want to be sure. He said, well you can look. Are you kidding me??!!! Absolute WORST customer service I've ever come across!! When I was in California, or anywhere else, I try and talk Wal-Mart up, because it has a bad reputation for being TRASH! But I order things from Walmart often and typically don't have a bad experience! BUT I will NEVER EVER come back to this Wal-Mart EVER again. And those employees need to be reprimanded and retrained! This is why people go to Target and pay more! Or anywhere else! It's this type of situation that gives Walmart a bad name. Target is so efficient with orders to your car! No one has been this horribly inefficient and just rude! Clearly poor management, poor staffing, and the WORST customer service Ive ever experienced. I will never be back.

I will NOT come back here. What a pain. The cashiers.....how can I explain. I came here with my mom and 2 family members for shopping, we got what we needed, and we came to pay. The cashier had an attitude, and she seemed racist, and I was really frustrated. She was making me want to punch her so bad. She's a cashier, and she should NOT have an attitude, but sadly there are workers that have attitude. She THREW the hot sauce that I had there, and that's extremely rude--it could've broke. I never expected this at all, hopefully she'll get back on her senses. The store owner HAS to fire her, to save others from this disrespectful experience. Absolutely hate this place now.

Checked store hours online, says it will close at 11. Drove all the way from Brooklyn for a few returns, got there before 8. They tell me returns are closed. They send me to the money counter by the subways, one guy working there and 10 people in line. I don't believe the store has any management. How can a manager allow any of this to go on? Ill stick with my local target from now on. No thank you.

This is the worst Walmart ever, AVOID AT ALL COST. From the customer service to the managers who would not honor WHAT WAS WRITTEN ON THE WEBSITE

When you think of the Walmart in Valley stream, one word comes to mind....hellish. I swear every time you come here no matter what time of day would day of the week what time of day, it is purest form of chaos. You might be able to find some really unique things that are only sold in Walmart stores, but it is truly a is truly a gamble. Stock is whereveryou can find it, somply becausecstaff cannot keep up with the constant shifting of merchandise by customers.
The customers....
These folks move around worse than tourist on 42nd street and block you at every turn. Most are terribly rude, and will try to cut you in line.
God knows parking is a full on battle sport, two errant carts hit my car, but surprisingly a lady resvued them as i was able to secure a spot in the last row. Today, it was so crazy I felt like I was having a panic attack. Thank God I made it out. Shop at your own risk.Helpful 11Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0Jul 6, 2016Previous reviewIf I could give this place negative stars, I would make it a minus 5. The saddest part about it, many of the entry level employees are very nice, but uninformed. Finding someone to simply find keys to unlock a case was a 35-40 minute ordeal, that shifted to waiting on queue at electronics for another 15 minutes, culminating in a 30 minute wait at customer service. Now if my troubles in this store only stopped at long lines, this might have more stars. This place always has epically long lines with sour patch kids working behind the register. But so called managers giving out incorrect store policies (quickly changing tune when I accessed it on my phone) is where a line is drawn.
Earlier this year, an item I ordered repeatedly went on back order for three months, a basic yarn that I ended up going to Uniondale 25 minutes away and purchasing. Another item I previously purchased has now been out of stock for, wait for it...... six months! So when I say go to another location, I honestly mean it. - Ada Y.Manhattan, NY1238781940Jan 11, 2023
I appreciate that Walmart Supercenter is located on the same strip as HomeGoods and Five Below, making it a convenient spot to stop by while shopping. I also liked the self-checkout option, which allowed me to quickly complete my purchase and leave the store. However, this particular location seems to attract more rude customers than other locations I've been to. The store was also quite busy during the afternoon on a weekday. Food and ambiance is not relevant to the experience.
