Call them VRI, InnSeason Resorts, the Cove at Yarmouth, whatever, they are all the same: crooks.

If I can ever offer someone advice, stay the hell away from these people, they are the most dishonest group of people in the world.

Went to a vacation expo at WTC Boston, about a week later, I got a call from Vacation Resorts International, I won free plane tickets for two in one of the drawings I entered. They told me all I needed to do was tour the Seamist Resort in Mashpee so I could tell others about it. I fell for it.

My fiance and I were lied to from the moment we walked through the door. I dealt with Sean Wolfe, total liar. Convinced us that by buying a timeshare week for the Cove in Yarmouth (site unseen), in December, that we could exchange the week for anywhere in the world, at anytime of the year. All the benefits, discounted concert tickets, airline tickets, ski passes, you name it, its all included. Emphasized that it was a deeded title, passed on to your heirs. Made us promise if we bought that if we ever wanted to sell, that VRI would get first grabs at re buying.

We were told if we left, we would never be offered the sale discount of $6000 ever again. Brought a copy of a letter from the Attorney Generals office stating that it was against the law to extent discount.

We bought. Totally screwed. We have NEVER been able to exchange our week, and never been able to use or sell the week. We signed a $4800 15.95% interest loan after putting down $1200. We have excellent credit, were told that's all they could offer, but we were let in on a little secret, refinance at any bank after 30 days and we would probably get 5.5-6.5%. Every bank laughed at us, they would never finance a timeshare.

So, we were lied to. We currently pay $105 every month, and $450 every year (oh yeah, the "maintenance fee") for NOTHING. I called Inn Season Resorts to sell back, like they promised, they laughed; never would they give me even a penny. I even said, "OK, listen, I have given you thousands of dollars over the last two years for nothing, please take the timeshare back and we'll call it even". Again, the said "no thanks". They told me if I stop paying them, they would sue us and ruin our credit. Real stand-up people.

So, we will have to pay, $105 a month for the next 6 years and $450 a year for the rest of our lives by there account. I need a lawyer.

Oh yeah, the plane tickets! Never used them, you had to book with them a hotel at outrageous costs, and tour another timeshare, if you wanted to use them. Dicks.
