I rushed into this post office on Saturday 5 minutes before closing hoping to get a padded envelope and ship something out. I was having no luck finding said envelope and was considering just getting a flat rate box for like 20 dollars. The clerk miraculously found one at the desk and instructed me to address it asap. Once I filled it out she let me get back to the front of the line where I shipped my package for 4 dollars and I was on my merry way. Very impressed with her friendliness, professionalism and awesome attitude. Not all heroes wear capes!

Update Review 3 Apr 14 - I came in today around lunch time and there was only 1 clerk working the counter. UNBELIEVABLE!!! It boggles my mind that the supervisor would only have 1 clerk working during a peak period while the rest take their lunch or break I presume. This is not rocket science on when your people go on break or lunch if you are in the service industry! Either the supervisor does not care or that very stupid! In any case, it was at least a 30 minute wait for everyone in that line. THEY NEED TO HAVE A MINUS STAR RATING ON THIS APP because that is what they deserve!

No sense of urgency at all in this post office! It took me 15 min to get helped and there were only 2 people in front me. By the time, I was finally helped, the line to the counter stretched closed to the door and at least a 45 min wait for those unlucky individuals behind me that were near the end of the line. If the clerks behind the counter were paid by how many persons did they helped instead of per hour, I bet you they will have a different motivation! They know that it doesn't matter whether they help 1 person or 100, they will still get paid for the hour worked. This is just constant with this post office, terrible customer service and lack of work ethic.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Christina B.Saint Louis, MO333May 15, 2016
I'm a new resident of Bloomington. I've had the misfortune of going to this post office twice. Once, I asked for passport paperwork. The woman behind the counter actually threw it at me from 3 feet away, sliding it down the counter. She rudely interrupted my question because she was sure she knew what I was going to ask. She didn't. For all of this, I had to wait 20 minutes (one person ahead of me) to get up to the counter. I ended up going to another post office to get my passport. They were nice and it took me 15 minutes total
2nd visit. I needed to buy stamps. I was first in line. Two workers were there moving so slowly that it was comical. I was wondering if Saturday Night Live was filming. While I waited, the line behind me became 10 people long. The postal workers did not improve their pace.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tabo R.San Francisco, CA01Dec 23, 2017
This is about overall experience with USPS mail delivery. They constantly deliver my packages to the wrong mail box, and I'm usually receiving someone else's stuff (sometimes very important documents). I track my packages and as soon as it shows "Delivered", I go retrieve it, but to my surprise, the package is not there! I try to call customer service but to no avail. There's no one answering to help. Leave a message? They won't call you back. What to do? Wait for the person who got your stuff to be nice enough to bring it to you, and try to avoid USPS as much as you can in the future. Or just get used to it.

I love this post office. They open before work and stay open after my work hours. The are open on Saturday until around 2:00pm. The are friendly behind the counter and they even come out to help those using the automated mailing option. They helped me tape up a box once for mailing. The have waited for me to run over to the outside box at 6:00pm...just in time. Finally, one time my husband threw his paycheck and an envelope he planned to mail into the outside mail box. I ran inside for help and the came out with me, unlocked the box and got the check out...even smiled. This is the best location with the best people ever! Sonya

Please note that the phone number listed -- 664-4600, rings, rings, and rings, and no one picks up. I'm trying to track three "delivered" packages that were supposed to arrive two weeks ago.

I honestly wish there was a minus star option.
This post office is consistently rude and horribly unhelpful. The latest time I was in was to pick up mail I had held while out of town. I was only going to be in town that day and leaving again for another week. I was expecting a gift to be delivered and needed it for the second leg of my trip. I set the hold to end that day and not only checked the box that I would be picking my mail up, but also wrote in the comments that I would be in to collect it.
I got there and was told that there was no mail and it was my fault because I indicated an end date I should have just left it blank. Huh? I was then told that because I put an end date my mail would just automatically be delivered on that day. Par for the course. I hung around town until 4:30 that evening and when nothing was delivered I went back to the post office; still nothing. I was then told that the second hold for the following week may not take effect in time and my mail could be delivered the next day. What?!?! How does that even happen?
I'm now back from my trip with no mail/package in sight and hoping it's all at the post office when I go to pick it up tomorrow.
I'm not holding my breath.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kevin T.Cocoa, FL347915Jul 3, 2013First to Review
