Is this a good place for cologne? Do they have gift sets and stuff?

They do sell cologne and have many high end brand colognes like Givenchy, Gucci, YSL, etc. I haven't seen Cartier though, so I've had to go elsewhere to get it for my boyfriend. They do have cologne gift sets, but I don't know if they're available… more

I came to this location to find tattoo coverage makeup and the staff here was so kind and sweet! With all their help, advice, guidance, and assistance, I was able to find a pretty good fit despite the intensity of the tattoo. I had just asked about the dermablend body makeup and was readily assisted with color matching, different color correctors, and an even better fit which was the foundation as a result! The makeup for the body was good but it wasn't an ideal match for my skin, and the staff was able to identify what I needed and how to apply it.
Mel was so helpful and had expressed she had done multiple cover ups for other clients in the past which was a great fit. I appreciated her color matching me so well, and now, I can't imagine not using dermablend foundation on my face - it's too good! The staff made sure I found exactly what I needed and that I was able to get all of my questions answered in the mean time during the color match. I had never received this level of care and amazing customer service at an ulta, and I was so moved at how kind everyone was and encouraging too. Thank you for making my evening and giving me great recommendations! This store is always clean, has hand sanitizer available everywhere, and associates are always asking/offering to help. Compared to other makeup shops I've been to, I feel like Ulta is one of the less intimidating ones where you can be at any level in makeup and with pop up workshops - even experts can learn something new!
Unfortunately where this location falls short, is restocking. There have been multiple occasions where I'd visit, wait about a month, and still find that the products I need aren't restocked. This is a bit too frequent at this location, so I'd recommend calling beforehand if you need something asap.
My last visit to this location was over a month ago, and I had figured there would be a restock on a tinted moisturizer I needed, but alas, it was still out of stock. This location has amazing customer service, cleanliness, and efficiency when taking care of the line - and I know that with a change in restocking this store could be incredible.
I'll continue supporting this location, because they do amazing in other categories, I just hope there will be more frequent restocks because I want to support storefronts instead of only shopping online. - Christina N.San Jose, CA397Apr 18, 2024
My experience at this Ulta was very unwelcoming. First, I politely asked a worker if they had something in stock. In response she said, "Can you wait?? I'm in the middle of doing something." And I said "oh of course take your time i'm sorry!"
After that I went to checkout the remaining items I had. It is my birthday month, so I asked if they had the birthday items. The cashier (Kassandra?) said that I needed to come on my birth DATE in order to get the items. I was a little confused since I've never been told this and the coupon I had for the birthday gift even said it was valid until April 30th.
Overall, they were extremely rude and we could tell that they hate their jobs. I didn't get my birthday gift until 4/16 when I decided to come back in again. Luckily, the cashier working at that time (Laura) was amazing and she was also confused on why they told me I had to come in my birthday in order to receive the gift.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I came here in hope of Ulta Beauty carrying Piggy Paint [a non-toxic, odorless, vegan, & cruelty-free nail polish for kids].
Upon entry, you are immediately glared at by the security guard. Dude stands around looking super unapproachable and stone faced. I immediately wander around, most definitely looking lost since it was my first time visiting an UB as a whole.
Shelves seemed more bare than not and the staff must be prone to thievery because everyone comes across very suspicious to them. No you aren't trippin' if you feel like you're being watched/followed- you most likely are.

I came to Ulta Beauty this morning, to buy two bottles of perfume, I was successful, it was just the way the 2 young ladies made me feel. I ask the young lady at the counter, where a certain perfume was, she called over another young lady whom worked there to help me. First I got a bad vibe from her, once we got to the cabinet where perfume was she keep the perfume from me , she put it in a basket she had, I noticed she kept the basket of perfume away from me, the whole time it seemed like she was on defense, like I was there too run off with the perfume. I wind up buy two bottles of perfume, now at checkout, the perfume came to 185.00 and some Change, I gave her 2 100 bills brand new, she checked both bills like for 5 minutes, making sure they're real. It was well over the top , she used her bill checker so many times, by now I was offended. She gave me my change, my experience was unpleasant, even her greeting afterwards, seem like just leave as quickly as possible. I been to Ulta Beauty twice in 2 weeks and bought over 350 dollars of perfume, the other Store was the Stockton, California store, those young ladies Rock , they make you feel comfortable, they don't judge you by the color of your skin. Send the 2 ladies there from San Jose, they can learn something! For now on I will continue to shop at the Stockton store! Those young ladies Rock, top level customer service!!!

This location was the only one who had a product I needed to pick up day of in stock. After weighing my options, I decided to give them another try.
Very happy to report that they have returned to having helpful staff who did not treat me like a common criminal! I have gone back several times since the initial incident and have not seen the person at the register working at the store.

That stops tonight. I popped into this store on my way home to exchange a product for a larger size. Got followed around not-so-subtly by more than one worker. Was slyly accused of potentially stealing by a cashier I had spoke with when I first entered the store and told them what I came in for, which was a miracle they had because they are often out of stock for what I'm looking for. I had gone to get a hand cart and had my Ulta card in hand.
People close to me have expressed their experiences of being racially profiled as well.
As a woman of color who works for a globally-renowned company with a salary to match and who was tastefully dressed, I know it is because of how they view customers who don't fit a particular profile.
I even gave them another chance after a visit where it took a while because I needed to find skincare products that did not contain certain ingredients which irritate my skin. When I finally checked out, the MoD remarked that I "spent a really long time in the store."
Excuse me? I bought several products. Isn't this good for the store's bottom line?
Perhaps it's the location, but I have been to several other Ulta stores within the state and was treated respectfully.
There is a silver lining to this experience: now I have an even greater impetus to visit the store which is new, close to my job and where everyone is helpful and I am not followed around. - Becky R.West Richland, WA06Apr 20, 2024
I'm over Ulta salon and brow services and especially their on-line scheduling. Product selection is good. Customer service OK. I've been looking for a go to place for my simple style and color. Today was my 3rd appt at kennewick Ulta and I was hit with ANOTHER scheduling SNAFU. I had scheduled a brows appoi (11:20) before my stylist appointment (11:45) through the website. It was confirmed via a text. This morning about 10:15 I received a call to reschedule my stylist appointment to noon because the system had booked my appointment over another. Weird, but ok. I'll just shop for 15 minutes in between. I get there at 11:15 and there is no one in brows. After 10 mins I find a free customer service person who tells me there are no brows appointments because no one is even working brows today. I checked my account to make sure it wasn't scheduled at the other Ulta in town and discovered there isn't even a brows appointment scheduled for me..even though I have a confirmation of it. Manager apologized and is concerned about the scheduling system, this has never happened before, are you sure you scheduled here, etc. I wait. Manager comes back 10 mins later with a goody bag (which I didn't not take) and tells me it was my fault and that I scheduled my brows appointment at the other place. I didn't. I have proof. Sigh. My rescheduled hair appointment then started 15 minutes late. Five minutes after my hair appointment started (so about 12:20) I get a text cancelling my 11:20 brows appointment at the Kennewick Ulta. Really?? I don't need the gaslighting!

Would have a great selection if more of their items are in stock. There are entire displays of empty shelves.
The customer service is also a hit or miss. The woman who helped my friend color-match was really efficient and helpful. However, there were staff members who hovered and followed us around a bit as if we were going to steal, and kept coming up to us when we were looking at products.
When I did ask one of these women for a recommendation, she was extremely cold, unfriendly, and borderline rude. She also didn't give me a good recommendation for the product I was looking for.

Do not go the this ulta salon! I repeat do not go here. I have to to many ulta salon and never experienced this debauchery. I showed the stylist this image of a long bob. We did a consultation and she said I am going to do it even longer because I have wavy hair. When she starts the hair cut she turns me away from the mirror and tell me to look down. When she is done I look up this is what I got. This is nothing like the photo I showed. On top of that the "manager" made me feel like it was my fault and only gave me 30% off. I told her I was not going to pay for this. $80 for a cut I did not even agree or look close to the pic I showed her. I ended up taking the discount and leaving because I was on the verge of crying. The hairdresser name was Mia. Stay away from this ulta!!!!
