Troy Home Inspection

Troy completed a pre-dry wall inspection for my new build. I was especially appreciative of the thorough job he did because I'm moving from out of state, and haven't had as much opportunity to check on the state on construction over time.

Troy was great. He did an excellent job and caught various concerns that we would not have been able to catch ourselves. While he caught concerns, he was able to tell us how serious the concerns were thanks to his 40+ years of experience as a home builder. Thankfully, none of the concerns were extremely serious.


I also really appreciated his rapport with our superintendent. The process didn't feel like a "gotcha", but rather a "I'm here as another set of eyes to support". He had very positive things to say about our superintendent, and I was grateful that throughout the whole process it felt like we were all on the same team.

Additional Positives:
* He was able to coordinate the inspection with short notice
* He provided a very thorough report with photos of all of our walls and the areas that he flagged
* He answered all follow up questions and talked us through the areas of concern

Troy was beyond responsive. I reached out to several others trying to see if I could schedule a last minute inspection due to schedule changing with no response and no communication. He was prompt, responsive and easy to communicate with. Makes sense why he has such good reviews. If you are looking for a home inspector who understands our business, this is the guy!

Troy is absolutely fantastic! He came recommended by my realtor and was so easy to work with. He's very responsive and was able to conduct a home inspection for me on very short notice. Not only did he go through the house with us to personally explain each issue, but he took so many photos and got them to us in a report same-day. Seriously, he completed the inspection and had the report by the end of the day. Troy and Anthony were absolute professionals and great to work with!

Troy did a great job very friendly explained everything as we went through the inspection and delivered his report. Very timely.

I cannot tell you how impressed I am with Troy by how quickly he got the report done not even within 24 hrs with pictures. His report is very detailed and clear. Our house is getting build in Las Vegas. I went to yelp and found Troy having 5 stars I contacted him and asked if he has availability and we were blessed that he is available. He is responsive, fast, professional and above all super nice! He was able to provide a timeline of completion and costs when I contacted him. This helped me made me feel more at ease knowing I'm working with a pro that I can trust to get the job done right the first time. Thank you again Troy for doing an amazing job!

For the longest time, I tried not to write a negative review for Troy. He is a really nice person but when it comes to home inspection for buyers he doesn't have the required knowledge.
I relied on his report and bought a house in Henderson as his report didn't find any major issues, however, since we moved in, we are finding issues one after the other.
From HVAC, and pool to roof, there were so many major and costly problems. So many that I can't even count them anymore.
If you are a buyer, have someone else do your inspection but if you are a seller, he would be great for you as he won't mention any issues with your house!

Troy is an outstanding home inspector! He is thorough, knowledgeable, and very professional. His attention to detail is impressive, and he quickly identified new construction issues with my home that the builder is now rectifying. Although this is Troy's second inspection during my building process, his latest reports are even more detailed than before. I highly recommend Troy to anyone needing a home inspector in Las Vegas.

I utilized Troy for a home inspection on an investment property I was closing on in Las Vegas this past weekend and unfortunately I was disappointed with the service and the final report produced.

The summary page on the report was left blank, items to indicate recommendations for repair were left blank, and spelling errors were made. In addition, little information was provided as to how tests were done and lacked detail. I have had many home inspections done in the past by various companies, and compared to those companies I felt this service was subpar. I will note that critical safely related / high value repairs were not identified in the inspection, but items that warranted repair/further investigation were not called out.

I will note that Troy and his partner arrived on-time and were professional. I will also note that Troy followed up with me to address my concern. I was told by Troy that most buyers often don't really read the reports (I agree this is most likely true). If you care about the purchase of your home and are looking to get the best second opinion as far as what you are getting into /potential issues, this is not the service you should use.

11 month checkup. Got in contact with Troy he gave me a quote and got me scheduled within the same week. He was able to get my inspection report within the same day. Very professional and made the process smooth.

However, if you are reading this do not get waste your money on inspectors in my opinion. I contacted my builder and he made some value points on why they are not worth it at the end of the day.

This is not an indictment on Troy. Once again he did a great job. However, 95% of the things he found I already knew about. You gotta ask yourself that question is 5% worth the money you will pay?

My answer is no. I think when you first move into a house a inspector could be worth it. In the 11 month checkup it is not as valuable because you have lived in the house and know what needs to be addressed.

Just had my pre drywall orientation today and had Troy come out to do an inspection and a write up. Troy is professional but also personable. He was able to point out that caught his eye to the site supervisor in a way that didn't come off as offensive or a negative critique. He explained things to me patiently and and even explained the engineering reason of why it's done in such a way. I feel a lot more confident with Troy's help and will definitely look to scheduling him once my new home orientation date has been finalized. Whether buying a new build or a home resale, an inspection and report from someone you can trust matters!
