Nestor and the team at the Mechanic OC are all friendly and professional. I appreciated the detail that went into explaining what my car needed, including the pictures they provided. Nestor took the time to prioritize my car's work, from most important to "can wait for the next visit." I very much appreciated leaving room to budget for the rest. I admire their willingness to be transparent which is very hard to find in this line of business.

It's easy to make an appointment online. They were quick to respond to my emails.

Overall, it was a great experience, and we will definitely be taking all our cars to the Mechanic OC.

I absolutely love everyone that I've encountered at The Mechanic OC. Nestor and Diana are absolute angels. They truly care about the needs and concerns of their customers and have exceeded, by far, my expectations of what exceptional customer service is like. I have never met such kind, caring, honest, and trustworthy mechanics and administrative staff in my life. I have been having oil consumption issues with my Kia Soul and Nestor and Diana went out of their way to take my car into a Kia dealership to try and speak with the manager or person in charge to resolve the manufacturer issue and to have it covered under warranty. The fact that they did all of that out of the goodness of their heart to fight for me and my car issue with the dealership shows what amazing and beautiful souls they are. I'm so grateful and appreciative of their genuine kindness. The world needs more people like Nestor and Diana. I will continue to get my car serviced here, even after I move on from the Kia Soul.

I went through absolute h*ll with another repair shop recently. 51 days, and over $7000 of work. They gave my car back to me with a new warning light on, a rattle that was so noisy that I couldn't use my bluetooth for a phone call, and a shattered info screen. You don't give a car back in worse shape than how it was put in! I knew I needed to find a new repair shop.

After checking the reviews on yelp, I decided on The Mechanic OC. Best decision EVER!

The level of care they gave me was as if my car were their own. They were thorough and meticulous, and communicated their findings every step of the way. For the first time, I felt vindicated about the old shop ... learning in full detail how messed up everything was. Ugh. But they gave me some great options, moving forward, for getting everything back in top shape.

It's funny, because I hate that corporate cliché, "We're family!" So it's weird when I say that I feel like family with Nestor and his team.

So ... can I be the Great Aunt Sally? I can bring home baked cookies, and pinch all the kids on their cheeks!

I love being part of this "family" and feel like I'm home. If you're wondering which auto shop to choose, this is the one. They do things right and ... imagine this ... actually CARE about the customer! In today's world, where customer service is going by the wayside in favor of automation and robots and not-a-human-in-sight to talk to, this has been a wonderful experience!

Without a doubt one of the greatest mechanics. Nestor is amazing. He makes you feel like family and know you are being taken care of. Was able to get all four of my brakes and rotors done for a great price. I will only be going to Nestor for all my repairs.

Nestor is very professional.
He took pictures of the parts of my car and explained the possible repair options over the phone.
The waiting time for repair is very quick.
Overall, it is a pretty good experience to do business with this company.

What a great experience it was to go to The Mechanic OC. The staff is so nice and friendly. I'm always worried that I will get overpriced and oversold on items I don't need, but you won't have that problem here. The staff does a great job explaining everything that will be done and why you need it to be done. Thanks to everyone at the shop for your honesty and hard work.

I'm thrilled to have found Nestor, who is hands down the best mechanic I've ever worked with. He's consistently upfront about pricing, never tries to upsell, and is incredibly trustworthy and knowledgeable. His entire team, from the front office staff to the other mechanics, are always pleasant and helpful. It's refreshing to visit a mechanic shop where you know you won't be ripped off or taken advantage of. If you're in need of a reliable mechanic, I highly recommend Nestor's shop. Plus, it doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes too! ;)
