Came by for coffee the other day and it was a mediocre experience. This Starbucks is located right next to the 85/De Anza freeway on-ramp, which can be tricky getting in depending on which direction you're coming in from!
Ordered an extra foamy latte via the Starbucks App and my drink was ready upon arrival, making it a quick and easy experience!
The latte was too hot... resulting in no milk flavor... Also took a good 20 minutes before I was able to start drinking it too...Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 10Oh no 0Apr 20, 2018Previous reviewOrdered coffee via the App before leaving the house and my drink was ready upon arrival! Location is a touch crunchy and parking was plentiful. Staff was friendly too!
My latte was surprisingly decent. ...not burnt and too hot like the typical Starbucks drinks... maybe something has changed...for the good?
...pricing is a touch higher than Peet's down the street for an identical drink though... - S F.Campbell, CA127651076Nov 1, 2017
New Starbucks with lots of parking (for now).
The seats are brand new. Lots of different types of table types to match you work style.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nick W.San Jose, CA34917556Oct 31, 2017
Great new place. So far great impressions. A little odd of a layout in that it's long without much in between corners of the shop. But probably still setting up. Also a little tough to get to or get back from if you aren't trying to get into 85 right after. But won't stop me :)

Nice people. I embarrassingly realized I didn't have my card on me as I was about to pay, but the guy ringing me up let me have my order on him.
My only gripe is that they are as speedy as a sloth, especially when it comes to mobile orders. If I were you, I would put my order in 15-20 minutes ahead of time to be on the safe side, especially if you're trying to get your coffee in the morning before work. One time they had a large group of people waiting for their mobile orders and the said there was an error on their system. But they did do their best to accommodate everyone despite the mishap.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kevin Y.San Jose, CA6112May 27, 2019
It's permanently closed.
The service was mediocre, flavor was Starbucks standard. At least it's close.
Now we have to go to the already-crowded Starbucks on Stevens Creek.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jane S.San Jose, CA565891Aug 8, 2018
When this location opened up near my work, it has become my go to Starbucks for my pick me ups.
I've experienced a range of crappy, mediocre and and just the standard "ok" services at other locations in the past but nothing that really stood out for me to have the urge to write a review like this store. I want to give two huge thumbs up, kudos and high fives to the amazingly friendly service I've received from the store manager (unfortunately I never got his name), Geraldine and Kyle. In these days where truly great customer service has become a lost art, these 3 gets it. It's the smiles, the friendly greetings, changing my cups because of extra ice without having to ask, remembering me to credit something from week prior ... it's these little things that go a long way.
Great job guys!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mark O.Bellingham, WA3084213408Oct 30, 2017First to Review
This new location is perfect for any northbound morning Hwy 85 commuter who gets on the freeway from S. DeAnza Blvd. The motion is modern meets wood and while the design is a little stark, the Baristas are warm and efficient!

Geraldine is one cool cat barista. Last Saturday was my first time at this particular Starbucks. The one in the Trader Joe's Plaza closed, so this one is like the replacement, on the same side of S De Anza Avenue as H Mart, and just a bit past 85 Degrees C. I would recommend this Starbucks based on its high ceilings, large spacious interior, ample seating, and of course the cool barista, Geraldine who cheerfully greeted me when I came in and wields hospitality to give customers a good first impression.

Just found out they closed this location. I went there in April and all the workers looked unhappy. My drink order was wrong (but they fixed it, although added extra time to my wait). I went here a few times out of sheer convenience to the on ramp of Hwy 85. The service was not great, just tolerable. The other customers, most were jerks in a hurry. Trying to pull into the parking lot was less than ideal. I got greeted with a middle finger trying to park my truck in the stalls which were not laid out great. So, the unhappy staff with customers as jerks, no love loss that this place is permanently closed!

Just an update. I stopped by today ( 07/06/18) for the espresso happy hour. Ordered 2 venti blonde Americanos. When I received the first one I noticed it did not say blonde on it and asked them in time for them to make the second one correctly. They didn't offer to correct the first one, which is fine since I didn't feel like wasting it. But I felt for good customer service , they should have offered to correct my order regardless of me asking or not.

The customer service is still great but the new employees really have been upsetting me recently. Today is the 4th time they get my order wrong and are inconsistent with the quality of the order.
The first time they made my order wrong I was half way to work when I noticed and I decided to call and let them know. They happily offered to give me a free drink the next day so they took down my information.. this was awesome and very appreciated...
But I really don't want to be calling every time something goes wrong. I don't want to be THAT customer.
So recently I've just been asking them to repeat my order to me and then I watch them like a hawk as they are making it to be sure I'm getting what I asked for.
Today my boyfriend offered to pick Starbucks up for us sooo I wasn't there to double check everything. .
The order was a venti iced coffee with heavy cream... And I know what this should taste like, look like, etc.
What we received was definitely not what we ordered. The Ice had not even melted yet and It was so watered down ( 2-3 min drive from Starbucks to our apartment) . Our theory is they probably didn't use heavy cream. I'm not sure but the drink wasn't good , waste of money.
Truth be told, I will definitely return to Starbucks because I need my coffee and it's so conveniently close to my place and on my way to work... But my whole rant is about not trusting the employees to get my orders correct or stay consistent with the quality..
so double check your orders when placed . And double check taste and color if it's something you order often.
