The customer service phone number does not work! Under manage your account you cannot STOP your subscription. What digital business does not have away to communicate ?? What is going on??
Finally found a number and Joy says she can't immediately cancel it, then says if she does I'll lose the month I've already paid, then changed it to she'll cancel it at the end of this subscription. My billing has many wild ups and downs and hard to communicate with them by e mail etc. Very frustrating.

The delivery service is absolutely horrible. I have complained innumerable times and the service only gets worse and worse. There is no way to get through the menu driven switchboard. There is a way to talk to a nice sympathetic person but the service never improves. I looked up the circulation department, but the line in not a working number. Crappiest service ever. They need to fire the delivery person. After 30 years of taking the paper I'm to the end. It's them.

missed paper again. called in at 7:30 and no way to talk to a real person. recording tells me they cannot get a paper to me today. this happens a lot.

Yesterday and today, we received no paper, which means that we have not received a paper 8 times in the past two weeks. The paper's customer service number tells me that they have escalated my complaints to the delivery manager but there has been no improvement.

I have been subscribing to 4 Sunday newspapers for more than 6 months now. I did get a good offer for the newspaper subscription. My card was charged $19.51 every month for the 4 papers.
Then the issues started happening.
First there were 2 coupon inserts missing.
So I called them about it. Didn't get the coupon inserts.
Then I get only 1 paper delivered.
I called about it and had to go and buy newspaper.
Then I get phone calls telling me that I have not been paying for my papers since July.
That pissed me off cause my account was charged every month!!!
Then I called them and told them to cancel my subscription.
Shortly after they call me with offers for a new subscription.
And today I get a letter in the mail from a collection agency for outstanding balance to be collected from the Star Telegram.
I am beyond pissed off!!!

I live in Burleson and have that same problem of trying to get Star Telegram to quit littering my front yard with this weekly paper. They say they will take care of it but it continues....very frustrating!!!!!!

"I've been trying for 3 years to get them to stop delivering the "Keller Citizen". It piles up on my lawn. I come home from business trips to 2-3 old papers. I never subscribed. Called over a dozen times. Drove to DOWNTOWN FORT WORTH - spoke to a nice lady. She called someone in the Beach st. Office. VERY NICE. The paper stopped for 1 week. I've emailed. Spoke with customer service 9 times. Left messages on the Star's attorney voicemail because it's the only message machine I got. I talked to my attorney. THere's NOTHING I can do!!! I HATE STAR TELEGRAM. They have no right to put my home at risk like this. No response - except 'canned' customer service emails saying they took care of it... and they didn't!!!"

They keep delivering the Star Values weekly ad circular to my home. I've been asking them to stop for over 6 months now. I've called and I've emailed. Nothing works. Most of the people there are nice and I believe they want to help but they just can't seem to make the delivery stop. The circular goes straight into the recycling. I can't help but think that if you actually ordered the paper and had any kind of problem, it would be the same.
