Sadly, I have to make this review. I've been dealing with this location for 12 years and NEVER had an issue until today. I went to pick my items up that were supposed to be ready Monday after 4:30PM. Today is Wednesday and one of the printing request is not ready. The young lady calls the personnel who worked over the weekend and she was ABSOLUTELY NASTY over the phone. Needless to say, I walked away with nothing. I'll never go back! Find you another location if you can! This one has poor customer service in the print and copy section!

On 12/24/2023 , i camein to simply get 2 copies of a legal paper. The initial young lady that tried to help me informed me that i couldnt tap to pay at the copy machine but to ask the manager and she may have the ability to do it behind the desk and ring me up at the register for cash or tap payment. i waited for the manager to finish with the customer she was with , and she walked away for a moment and got on a computer. i simply said "Hi, when youre done would i be able to pay in cash for a copy?" instead of simply saying yes or no, she said sarcastically and unprofessionally "uh, im with a customer" as if the energy she used to say that couldn't have just been the answer to the question. why would i stand there super long to only be told it isnt possible? initialy i just waited, snd she walked back over to the customer. at that point i then interjected thinking perhaps she didnt comprehend what i was saying and said "just so im not waiting for no reason, would i be able to pay for a copy with cash?" again instead of yes or no the lady says "mmkay sir, im with another customer" as if i didnt see that. this was her excuse when she was all the way on the other side of the store too. her energy and disposition was certainlynot one of profe stature and she seemed to be a miserable and bothered and moody individual. if you are in management and dont know how to deal with multiple customers on christmas eve then obviously this isnt for you. it also didnt help that im black and she and the other customer both happened to be caucasian. 2 black individuals said she was obviously racist.

This large Staples has all the office goodies. Whether it's printers, copiers, papers or even desks and chairs, it's here. I was looking to replace my notepad that's been a little worn lately and was pleased to find the right size. Bought it.
Several of the store workers asked me if I needed any assistance. Perhaps because I was suspiciously taking pictures for this eventual Yelp review?

Don't come to the Brier Creek location for TSA Precheck appointments! I recently had an appointment, and I arrived at my appointment on time and was told by a Staples employee that their system was down! No one from the Staples Brier Creek location ever informed me of this issue ahead of time, which is ridiculous! I wasted time coming to this location, and as soon as I left Staples, I received a cancelation appointment notice, which should have come to me directly! This is poor customer service!

I'm usually not in this part of Raleigh but was looking for a particular item (CD-R disks) and decided to compare them to Target. The employee behind the counter greeted me when I arrived. At first she didn't know where the item was but she asked another employee for help, and that individual pointed me directly to where they were. Their price was cheaper than Target for this item but oddly enough Target's price was cheaper for the CD cases. Upon checking out, the clerk ask if I was a rewards member of if I'd like to be one. I don't shop for office supplies enough for it to be worthwhile so I declined.

Just wanted to pop in and say good job to Kai, the person who checked me and my dad out today. Part of being a good cashier is being able to make a conversation out of whatever the weirdo customer is talking about (I've been both a cashier and a weirdo customer) and Kai has that knack. I wish them the best in all their future endeavors.

It's difficult to be a fan of a store that only offers a limited "in store" selection but provides a wide variety of options online. When shopping for higher end monitors you're given 3 options in the store, and two of those are okay quality, and the third is just a shade better than the other choices. Due to the fragile nature of these, this is not the type of equipment I want to be ordering online.
Otherwise, the store is okay in most aspects. A lot of open space toward the back, and when I come in for 1099 forms, they are typically one of the few stores that have any left at the last minute.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brad M.Reading, PA172Sep 18, 2018
Purchased a UPS that was supposed to be delivered by September 13th. Well before the storm. Went there on the 14 and the UPD was still not there. Was told to watch my email. Went through online chat and was told the same thing. Got an email today (the 18th) stating the item was reshipped to the store and is scheduled for delivery for the 25th. A FULL 2 WEEKS AFTER MY PURCHASE DATE!

It takes something extraordinary for me to take time out of my day to leave a review.
It's been a while since I've had service this excellent. I was looking for kids practice writing paper and had been to 2 other places with no luck. I walked into this Staples and was greeted by everyone with a friendly hello. Then a young man asked me if he could point me in the right direction, so I gave him my description of what I was looking for. This is where I was beyond impressed... without hesitation he told me they had two options for what I was looking for, gave me pinpoint exact direction of where it would be including the isle, to the shelf, and what it was adjacent to. After easily finding my paper I went back to him to applaud his knowledge and professionalism.
I hope all Staples are moving toward this type of customer experience as it was an amazing and refreshing experience.

This is a slightly smaller staples, but it's nice and clean. The people inside were very helpful and friendly. Because of these helpful employees I have another rewards cards. When will stores quit using these horrible things? I'll be back when the appropriate needs arise.
