Q:
Your service charge was about 22% on my bill for a small dine in group. How much of that goes to the server?
A:
All of the tips go the servers and bussers.

I made reservations for my husbands birthday, ordering a whole coconut cake for the family, which is his favorite. The dinner started out well, with appetizers delicious. The main course came for all family members except mine, which arrived when everyone else was just finishing up their meal. Not wanting to have my hubbys birthday dinner ruined, I just asked that they box my meal. I then took my granddaughter to the bathroom, spoke to our waitress to insure that the birthday cake came out with candles and a tad of fan fare, only to be told later by my daughter that hubby had asked for the manager, with manager never arriving. Food for family was good, though service was disappointing and we were only a party of five.

Originally went in thinking this was a cafe, but was surprised, in a good way that it was a sit down restaurant. The decor was very cute and homey. Ample seating everywhere very spacious and very authentic.
Our waiter was very kind and patient, we were actually served by the owners brother who gave us a mini tour of the restaurant and let us know that you can have a huge party without having to rent out the place.
The food was amazing. The pizza was so good, the cheese was melting off, the pasta amazing as well. The tiramisu was a bit dry missing some coffee, but maybe that is what authentic tiramisu tastes like? Either way I will be coming back to try other dishes.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 23195Mar 10, 2024
I went here for the first time. To start, we ordered the Brie Al Forno which is a small round of warm Brie cheese with apricots and almonds on a bed of greens. It was very good, make sure to add everything, including the greens, to your bite. They also provide a warm bread service for free. I found the bread to be just okay, as the crust was slightly too hard for my taste but the inside was good. You are able to get refills of the bread.
To drink, our waiter recommended us the Italian blonde ale. It was good and tasted reminiscent of champagne.
For our main meals, my party got the Ravioli Alfredo Quattro Formaggi. This was a four cheese ravioli. It was pretty good and the sauce was very thick. The raviolis were so large and sauce so thick that I almost got sick of the flavor by the end. However, it was good I would just recommend next time saving some to take home for later. We also ordered the mushroom lasagna. It tasted exactly as it sounds, overall pretty good! Lastly, we got the Bucatini alla Carbonara. This is a thicker-noodle dish. It comes with pancetta which is a very powerful flavor in the dish so if you're not the biggest fan, I would not recommend getting this. For desert, we got the chocolate cake. It was slightly dry and tasted reminiscent of hazelnut.
The inside of the restaurant is very cutely themed and there's 3 rooms/sections for seats with a small outdoor area in the front as well. Service was slightly slow until we got our main courses, which then we were checked on and got refills quickly.
Overall, it was a pretty decent Italian restaurant.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shantall S.Northwest, Denver, CO01011Dec 28, 2023Updated review
Revisited last night for the first time since September, given my last visit wasn't very good. And this time was like every other, perfect.
I mentioned how my last visit was to the owner, he told me that pears are seasonal and flavors may vary...but if anything they'd be out of season now.
Not too sure about that answer but glad it was a better experience this time around anyways.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Sep 27, 2023Previous reviewThis was the first time in a million visits where i've been dissapointed. Came to have dinner here with my family on tuesday night. The restaurant was empty, there were 3 other tables. The service wasn't like it usually is, which would be - very family like.
This is the most authentic italian food i've ever had, and the Pear Fiocchi had the faintest flavor of pear if n any at all :(
I'm debating on whether or not i'll be returning any time soon. - Feb 6, 2024

Italy away from Italy. Self seating in the non busy hours. Server was really nice and explained the menu a bit to me. Decent drink menu and even better food. Space is clean, family friendly and solo friendly. They have something for everyone. Love the dessert display. Definitely give them a try if you're in the area!

3rd time coming our first 2 times were solid. The aesthetic is homey and comfortable. The food is hit or miss. The first couple times we loved it, our last visit our pizza was undercooked and salad underwhelming. Overall, 3 G's.

Wonderful food! Outstanding Service! Lovely Homie Ambiance!
This was the first time I came to Sosta Caffe for a business meeting and everyone enjoyed it very much!
Our server was very sweet and recommended some great choices.
I learned that the owner is Italian so it is truly authentic Italian food.
Highly recommend to anyone willing to try a delicious Italian meal (:Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 2 - Lia R.Hialeah, FL36198172Apr 14, 2024
Came here on a Sunday - nice family restaurant - clean - nice decor - no changing table in the bathroom (why?) - appetizer bruschetta is delicious - had the scampi pasta (very lemony) - carbonara was also really good - foccacia bread served warmed with water is great - good price - but the service can improve - we didn't get water refilled - they took forever to come once we had food, we had to chase them - but overall would be back

I wrote before about this hidden gem and how great it was, but frankly, we went back for a 2nd time and the food was just off! First, the waitress we had didn't even know what type of Seafood the Frutti di Mari Risotto included. She kept saying it had Salmon and fish. I told her that what she was describing to me was Fish not seafood, but she couldn't explain what was in it. When she bought out the Risotto it looked disgusting. the ONLY seafood it had was 2 shrimps and huge pieces of OCTOPUS!! If I had known this was the only thing the Risotto included, I would have never ordered it. YUCK!! Not pleasing whatsoever. Service was not good, and neither was the food . even the bread tasted funky. I am not going back.
