She was also a delight to chat with. Time flew by! And in the end cutting off 3 inches and fading my sides was only $15! They have $2 off on Tuesdays!
I can't wait to come back for my first perm and monthly trims.

Hairdresser was not nice at all did not even ask my name, and completely destroyed my hair. My hair was in good condition but had been bleached in the past so I didn't not want it bleached again, just wanted to see how to remove a few blue strands I had. She told me my hair was in terrible condition and completely compromised. Other stylist came over to touch it and said it was really bad too and they were rude about it. She put something in my hair that smelled like bleach and then all my hair started falling out she was really rough with my hair ripping it out. While blow drying my hair was flying all over the place and she blamed it on my past bleaching. She then said I looked like a patchwork quilt with the hair I came in with. She mad other rude comments about my hair that made me want to leave crying. I felt so insecure by the time she was finished. I left with wet hair and it has been falling out since I left. So disappointed my hair was in the best shape it had been for awhile and now it's the absolute worst. She acted as if I did this to my hair and blamed me for it when SHE is the one that just ruined it. Will warn any other blondes about ever coming here. I paid $80 to have my hair completely fried and falling out.

Well after 4 tries YELP finally ok'd my picture so I can even respond to you. I have been trying since Thursday last week.
I am sorry you felt this way at Shear Logic, for we are known for our kindness and accommodations. I have talked to all stylist about how to be more delicate when discussing this type of thing with clients. The reason the stylist did not ask your name is that you had an appointment and she knew your name. I have worked with my stylist for over 20 years so I wanted to consult with them before I responded to you since I was not present.
After speaking with both stylists that looked at your hair, I learned you had multiple vivid colors throughout the whole head and some breakage was already present. The stylist reported that you said you and a friend had bleached your head prior to coming in. Then, you put a grey on top. Your hair was in a compromised state when you arrived and the stylist was just trying to get across the shape it was in, without being rude, and explained why she would not be able to achieve the grey or rose gold you wanted as end result. Instead a the decision was made that a one tone blonde would be the least damaging result. NO bleach was used on your hair.
This is what was done on your hair:
First, your root was toned with a low level developer where the root had previously been lifted on your natural red hair. Then, a clear with a low level developer was used to push out the unwanted vivid colors in the rest of the hair. Lastly, and olaplex bonding treatment was applied to restore, repair and hydrate your compromised hair. I was told it felt better at the end than it had in the beginning. The stylist did not dry your hair because of its dryness. When hair is in that state, it is best to use as little heat as possible.
