Brand new located in the old goodwill store.
They did a good job fixing it up.
Lots of appliances and even clothes.
They sell discontinued, floor models, lightly scratched appliances.
Prices are actually pretty good. If you done mind last years model. Which I don't.
Employees were helpful and friendly.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - A A.Baton Rouge, LA33211Aug 29, 2016
This outlet has a lot of great deals on appliances--my wife and I just bought a dryer there, and it works great. A real step up from our last one, at a great price! A few issues should be brought to light:
-Service. The head salesperson there was incredibly helpful initially, suggesting a dryer and a 2-year service plan to replace the appliance should it break. Only after introducing it at length did she mention it would cost $180 extra. When I declined the service plan (as I've never needed one on an appliance), she became a LOT grouchier. When I signed the receipt, she was sure to say, "initial here, where you've chosen to decline our great service plan." Passive aggressive comments became standard issue for the rest of the visit.
-Delivery. The Outlet only delivers in Monday, meaning I waited four days to get the dryer. They mentioned arriving between 11:30AM-1:30PM. At 2:30PM they called, saying they'd "be there in 20-30 minutes." At 3:45 they showed up. The delivery men were excellent at their job, but this lack of efficiency left a bad taste in my mouth.
Apart from these issues, it's not a bad place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lisa F.Lake Charles, LA861Dec 16, 2014
Purchased a dryer here. We loaded ourself and got home to unload, plug in, only to find out that it did not work. Was told a part was changed on the dryer, but it apparently wasn't checked before putting it on the floor for sale. Had to load up washer and haul it all the way back..25 miles one way and unload it again! A refund was offered, however we saw another dryer we were interested in. It was $20 more than we paid and Sears Outlet would not honor for even exchange. I feel like a GOOD business would have honored this bc of the inconvenience of it all to us as customers. They are a JOKE!!! None of the salesman could answer questions about the products. Very disappointed. Went to Lowe's and purchased a brand new set, washer/dryer and they delivered :)
Stay far away from the Sears outlet unless you want to be ripped off and waste your time.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jayde H.Morgantown, WV3365227Jul 1, 2017
