Phones system cannot hold a call or they cannot hear you. When I finally got through to set up an appointment for an estimate you have to call them back and deal with their crappy phone system to see what the status is. An hour and a half later I was contacted by the technician that had to reschedule due to heavy traffic....you operate daily in the Atlanta market. Those of us that do it successfully adjust for these things. Waste of time and sad example of a company that used to be reliable. A bad joke.

On 10/26/15, we had 2 new garage doors installed through Sears. Apparently, Sears contracts this service out. This morning, 1/10/16, I went to open one of my doors (the double door) and as it was raising over my cars (one new!!) one side proceeded to come off the track. I promptly stopped it and now have a double garage door halfway up, hanging over my cars. My first thought was to go to the sticker on the wall, which was left by the installers. When I called, I was told that company does not even work with Sears??? My next call was back to the Sears sales number. The call center person (located in FL, I am in GA) said she would put out an emergency call to someone. When I did not hear back from anyone, I called again. The call center person, who I now explain the craziness of the situation to and that all I could remember was that I spoke to "Lou" about the installation. She was able to locate the name Lou Redford and a number here in GA and she called him while I was on the line.
Chevelle, at the call center, came back on the line and sounded genuinely surprised. She called Lou and reached him and he said, "No calls on Sunday". When she tried to explain the situation and asked if he would call me or if I could call him, he simply said, "no" and hung up on her. What the heck is going on here?? Chevelle was very apologetic but, really what could she do?
My next step was to go back to the first company I called, the wrong sticker company - All Four Seasons, the repairman was walking in to church but, will be here as soon as the service is over (and this wasn't even his mistake!!!!)
I will now have to pay a service call fee and an Emergency call fee and I promise every bit of free time I have will be used posting about the HORRIBLE service I just received from Sears and the wonderful rescue All Four Seasons is providing.
I have been a Sears customer my entire adult life and the child of a Sears customer prior to that. I am so disappointed to find that Sears has decided to go down the road so many other big companies have taken with shoddy work and terrible customer service. This is my first time being slighted enough to take to the internet but, I promise my coverage of this event will be of excellent quality and as far-reaching as this platform will allow.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
