RedFin Charters

My first charter was about a year and a half ago and I just went again a few days ago. Captain Justin worked to ensure we were on the bite. It was very cold and we were warned it would be slow. Thanks to Justin we caught all we wanted. Red Fin has great boats, great staff and great customer service. I can't say enough good about them. If you are considering a fishing charter I highly recommend Red Fin! Just dress warm.

My friend and I try to do a fishing trip every year, this year we decided on Charleston and used Red Fin. Day one was fly fishing near the cape Roman national refuge , day two inshore off Isle of palms

Both captains were great, boats were in good shape and we came away with what we wanted; laughs , fun and plenty of fish

Booked a 4 hour charter for 3 leaving at noon. There was free parking in the marina. They had a cooler for a 6 pack and some waters. Dry storage for other snacks and belonging.

Our guide Craig got us out on the water right around 12:00. We had hooks in the water around 12:15 ish. We fished a few different spots. Caught a few small fish that we threw back and one shark. We eventually caught a Redfish that we brought home. Craig filet'd the fish and packed it in ice for us to take.

RedFin provides everything and showed us how to bait our lines and cast them out. We learned so much about the different types of fish, fish behaviors, and much more. We had a great time.

Would I go back? Absolutely. Looking forward to it actually.

Spent two days fly fishing with Caleb and Pat, and another day spin fishing with Bill. Fly fishing was a little slow, but Caleb and Pat were great guides. Bill was a hoot on the spin fishing trip, and we caught a lot of sheepshead off the jetties. We would recommend hiring them as fishing guides.

We took a afternoon trip out in the bay with Dylan and he was a great host. We were not familiar with fishing in this area and he explained and showed us the different areas of the bay. We caught several sharks and even a huge Bull Red.
We wanted to see the marsh areas and so he took us thru some of the creeks and explained the ecosystems of the area.
All in all it was a great day.

What a great time and a what a great Captain. We started the morning being delayed due to rain and Captain Howie and the mate kept us informed while we waited. As the rain let up Captain Howie had us board. The captain was very knowledgeable, informative and put us on fish even on a crappy day. First run was to get bait and then a run out to the jetty. He worked hard at keeping us on fish and making sure we always had a rod in hand. We had good conversation which is always a plus. The mate on board was talkative and tended to all of our needs. The run back to the docks was in a torrential downpour and we were soaked to the bone, which just added to the fun and adventure. We came home with great photos of some nice reds, fish filets and a fantastic experience. I recommend Redfin and Captain Howie. I will certainly be chartering with Redfin and asking for Captain Howie next time we are in Charleston.

Captain Ryan was the best!!! We had an AMAZING day!!! We caught the elusive Cobia, 38 pounds!!! We also caught one of the largest Red Bull and Bowhead Shark.......I drove 12 hours from Cleveland Ohio and it was worth all 1501 miles, I would do it again in a "heartbeat". Captain Austin was amazing to watch him filet my 38-pound Cobia. This was one of the BEST days of my life!!!! Thank you RedFin Charter!!!

What fun! Captain Howie is a good guy, professional and enthusiastic. We caught a Redfish and several sharks. We would absolutely do it again.

Great four hours on the water with Captain Bill. We were a group of beginners and Captain Bill made sure we had a great time. He was patient and helpful. He was more excited when we caught one than we were! We caught flounder, sea trout and red fish. Highly, highly recommend RedFin and Captain Bill.

Capt austin was awesome. Put us all on fish despite blistery cold conditions. Made trip for my son and elderly dad very memorable. Will do this again!
