I have been seeing Dr. Ryan and Dr. Sarah for almost 20 years. They are both compassionate and caring dentists. They are attentive and honest and I completely trust them.

I recently had a dental emergency on Easter weekend. I was able to speak with them on Saturday evening to get advice. Unfortunately it became so painful the next day I couldn't function. Even though it was Easter Dr. Pitman came in to help me without hesitation.

I have recommended many people to them and will continue to do so! I had at one point considered looking for a new dentist office because I live all the way in Clackamas now, but I will never change dentists! The drive is completely worth it!

I am new to portland and this was my first dentist appointment. I came in and Sarah the dentist sits down and does a FULL dental analysis/history! She was so thorough. I really enjoyed speaking with her and appreciated her knowledge. I then got my yeeth cleaned by Elise (?). Wow, she was incredible. I highly recommend this dentist office. Btw, its not wjat you would expect the outside of the building to look like. It shares a space with a chevron gas station

The best! We moved away from Portland and I dearly miss the Pitmans. My husband and I both were patients of the Pitmans and couldn't have been happier with our choice for a dentist. They made everything easy and were straightforward and always super kind. The office had a chill, pleasant vibe. Definitely the best dentist in Portland in my experience (I tried a couple before finding this practice). Highly recommend :)

I want a dentist that spends an extra thirty minutes getting me numb because I'm a big baby and whine whenever the needle gets close. One that finds space for an emergency filling even when it's not really an emergency. An office that runs on time and smoothly.

Pitman isn't the cheapest but are part of Intel's premium tier and so 90% of costs are covered. Personally, I don't want the cheapest of anything being put in my mouth.

Also, my previous dentists were single practitioner offices and I strongly recommend going to a place with two. It makes scheduling and urgent issues so much easier to deal with and every once in a while you want a second set of eyes on something. Been with them for over 5 years and would continue seeing them even if I moved out of Portland.

I have an expensive mouth. I have been to many dentists over the years and I am just so impressed with the Pitman duo. Not only are they wonderful and gentle and thorough, the entire staff here is nothing short of amazing and just all around awesome. I've seen some dentists in the past with manners less than optimal and I actually look forward going here. The prices are reasonable, and getting an appointment as a patient is easy and quick. I had an abcessed tooth last week and they got me in ASAP and had me sent for a root canal that very day. They also got me the antibiotics I needed when the hospital wouldn't supply me any (oh weekend dental woes!).
I recommend these guys highly.

They get it - dentistry is more than cleaning teeth. They don't shame you here, they don't treat you like a kid (unless, you know, you're a kid...), they don't upsell or pressure you on work. Rather, they take time to explain, clarify, ask, help, and ensure you have a great set of chompers to last your whole life.

Everyone is great - from the front desk to the hygienists, and especially the doctors Pitman (husband and wife team).

I've been to a fair share of dentists, but this one is the best. Like most, I don't love going to the dentist, but they make it enjoyable and have me looking forward to my next appointment.

I have a visceral fear of the dentist following a horrific implant/bone graft/gum graft experience elsewhere a dozen years ago. I avoided the dentist ever since. A nagging toothache had me reluctantly looking for a place to help and great yelp reviews and close proximity brought me here. Providence! This wonderful husband and wife team are angels and their staff are kind and gentle. Yes I still sweat when I have to go but am comforted to know the Pitman's will have my best interest at heart and will take their time to make sure I am calm, cared for and well informed. This office is 5 stars in every aspect. Thank you!

I have lived in Portland for 4 years but was putting off finding a dentist because I liked my old one so much i just kept going back to them every time I went to visit. But I knew I needed to find someone. So I tried this place because they had great reviews and I liked it being a husband and wife team.

They have a very nice office. Clean, up-to-date and well done. the receptionist was really friendly and knowledgeable and I loved the dentist. He was funny and helpful. He took pictures of all my teeth so he could explain everything to me. that was so helpful. He really took his time, and I didn't feel like he was trying to sell me anything or get me to do anything that wasn't necessary. That felt great.

I have a jay alignment problem and he recommended I see and orthodontist. He said he wouldn't feel comfortable trying to work on it himself. that felt great, instead of just wanting the money to do something himself that was better done by a specialist.

I have been recommending him to everyone.

I just moved to Portland and was nervous about switching dentists, but once i got there I was totally okay with the change. The first week here, one of my fillings fell out, I got an appointment with them within a day, and it was a great experience. All of the staff is super friendly, and very knowledgeable. I had a small cavity that he filled and it didn't hurt or feel uncomfortable at all. He was a magician with the needle, and they use a pretty cool mouth guard thing so that you don't swallow any of the stuff they drill off. All together I would say this is a wonderful place to get dental work done.
