This was a great place with friendly knowledgable staff that were always eager to help out. Dan was a great guy who always asked if he could help load my purchases in the car or he would take the time to patiently mix my bulk soil purchases into my truck.
Everyone was great and I wish them my very best and hope they will rebuild soon! You are all deeply missed.
I wish everyone there the very best that this New Year can bring for them!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Stacey M.Marina, CA1419Apr 5, 2017
Love they array of choices. Prices are competitive and the staff is there to answer any and all questions. And they carry your treasures out to your car.

This tiny little garden center certainly takes advantage of every square inch of space. You probably will find what you want at a reasonable price. It's easy to shop this location than Mendons, largely because it is not so spread out. You don't need to already have a plan or many hours to spare when you hit up Paradise Garden Center.
The staff seems pretty knowledgeable but I will amend that statement by saying some staff more than others. Typically I get really great info, but once I went and asked about creating a living fence, stating I didn't want plants that would get too out of hand- I needed something tall and narrow, easy to keep trimmed into a roughly 6 foot tall hedge, certainly not 30 ft tall and not something that is wide. The staff member I spoke to that day suggested English Laurel, telling me it would be easy to maintain and was not at all invasive like clumping bamboo I was considering, and roots wouldn't go after my septic tank like another plant I had considered. I almost bought 10 plants but decided to go home and research it first. Yikes, I'm not sure I would be rating them as high today if I had taken that guys word for it. It is an extremely invasive plant.
My other experiences there have been very positive, and there are other staff members. I just suggest that you always research any big decision, no matter what nursery you hit up.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mary Ann C.Paradise, CA1019Mar 17, 2016

I will always shop here for all my garden needs. Barry and Karen are so knowledgeable as well as the rest of the staff! Everybody is so incredibly helpful always offering to help load up your vehicle and giving tips and tricks that help your purchase last a lifetime! Also if there is ever a plant you don't know the name of, if you show them a picture they'll know it!

If you find yourself fantasizing about growing your own food this summer, why not take the first step and start checking out our local nurseries? Great service, awesome selection, and very knowledgeable staff make this the perfect place to get your garden started. Their plants are very competitively priced, and I have found them to be more affordable than the big box stores. In addition to veggies, herbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, they carry a great selection of organic soil amendments, fertilizers, mulch, garden art, etc. The guys will load your car up for you when you're finished and make sure you have everything you need. That kind of service is hard to find these days.

I love this place! The prices are great and the service is fantastic! I purchased a couple trees recently and they were half the price of their competitor.

Wonderful gem hidden in plain sight!
As a newcomer to town I've driven past this place thinking it was tiny and only sold the plants visible from Clark Rd. I stopped in yesterday, just to check it out, and was pleasantly surprised to find out they had a much wider selection of plants than expected, hidden from road view, behind the building. Lots of ornamentals, fruit trees, grapes, perennials, veggie starts. The prices were reasonable. The only problem was deciding what to buy. A staff person offered to carry my plants and load my car as I was paying. Nice service. On a side note, I had called 4 other local nurseries looking for an Oro blanco tree. Yesterday while browsing the citrus trees, I happily spotted one, in the nursery I least expected to find much of anything.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Medicine B.Paradise, CA4424Nov 5, 2012

Hands down the best! Knowledgable, helpful, and competitive prices. They are so nice, I really enjoy going there. Even if you just need some advice, you can always get the help you need. Personally, I have a ton of kids with me most of the time. Which is stressful enough, and they don't treat me any different. Even try to explain to them what we are talking about! So sweet. I am a beginner at gardening, I ask a lot of questions!
I am happy to call them "my nursery" and they forever have my business.
Happy gardening!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
