I went in to get 2 copies of a 76 pg legal document I needed for filing.
First the "Mgr" didn't want to do it for me because he had other things to do.
When right out of the gate the papers jammed in the customer use machine I insisted they make the copies. He kept having problems, did it twice, could not give me the paper counts, and after a half hour, charged me 32.00 each packet, gave a receipt that didn't show the service or the count and then said he had to go close the store with a rude and belligerent attitude, as if it were our fault he didn't know what he was doing.
I counted them at home and one copy contained 72pgs and the other 63.
I called this morning (Sunday...I need them for an early morning presentation on Monday in another city) and he refused to do the job over, even if I gave him all his copies back and refused to give me the phone number of his district or regional manager saying "he wouldn't be interested in this". I told him this was his last chance to make right, get some further training or look at the unemployment line. I will be looking at that, but a little screwed now having to find a place to make copies last minute before a case filing.
The young lady who used to manage the store was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable, very helpful and ....pleasant! This guy is like the kid who got too many trophy's just for participating..useless..and arrogant and deceitful to boot!

I use them for all my business ( http://branding-udma.com ) paper and office supply needs. They have a great selection, great prices and everything is usually always in stock. I have gotten copies from them and it is reasonably priced and they are very fast. If you have a business, you should definitely use them.

Went in for a simple print. needed 2 pages printed from a memory stick. Have done this many times. They wanted $2.50 minimum. if you want to do it yourself with a CC you can use their machines. Ridiculous. I used to come in get something printed, I would shop around and usually leave with something else. No more. Thankfully there is a UPS store right across the street and other options.

I have mixed feelings. I'm sort of obsessed with office supplies so this place is awesome. MOST people who work here are great and helpful.

Box stores are always about .... are the prices competitive? Are the service people knowledgeable and friendly. Do they have what we need when entering a specialty store.

REALLY great young woman helped me at first. Then, she was taken to something else and her co-worker took over. :/ I wanted the first young woman with the manners back almost immediately.

Had to make copies of something and was met with one of those 'elitist-female-i-know-more-than-you-about-technology' eye rolling, huffing, "OMG, you are so stupid" (she didn't say it, her body language did... and the huffing/sighing)... girl-child service desk chicks who treated me with some disdain because I was asking too many questions for her very busy, knowledgeable life.
Not cool.

However, we do also fly to Albany, Syracuse, and Utica enough that we know to shop and compare not only product, but also service.

BTW.... not all people over the age of 25 are morons about technology.... just so ya know.

Convenience and supplies, products, sales.... yes and yes. We'll be back.

Management.... work on the eye rollers please. Again, 95% are super engaging and friendly.

I have a personal pet peeve for pretension from a teenager.

Customers need tech support BEFORE they take a product home, not afterwards. Now I have to drive 20 miles to the store to see what's wrong with my Brother printer. Overpriced accessories also -- boo!

Had an issue at the register but management resolved quickly and I appreciate the resolution quickly.

I'm of two minds about this place. On the one hand, the guy was helpful and nice. On the other, he pushed me to buy expensive software that was already installed on the computer.
Ignorance or scheming for more money? I'll let you decide.
Go to Wal-Mart next door; if they don't have what you want, reluctantly return to Office Max but come prepared and don't be bullied.
