I'm writing this review on behalf of my sister's experiences at this store (she doesn't have a Yelp account).
Don't worry, it's a positive review.
She calls me frantically needing help with her daughter's senior project (my niece).
Anyhow, the project requires her to assemble a 'book'. She procrastinated and the project is due the following day (in this case-tomorrow).
I suggested my sister go into the nearest Office Depot and ask an associate to assist her with her task. She did. And this young lady named Helena, was so helpful to my sister and her family that she asked me to write a review on her for being very beneficial and effective because, to be frank, everyone (more like mom and dad) was very panicky and angry that my niece had waited last minute to complete this project. So, thank you, Helena, for your aid. You were a tremendous help to them.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amanda O.Elk Grove, CA03Jul 28, 2022
Placed an order on-line when I was notified that it was ready for pickup I headed to the store and followed the curbside instructions which are-
For Curbside Pickup, park in a spot near the front of the store and click "I'm Curbside" from your e-mail or mobile app. An associate will be outside shortly.
I waited about 20 minutes then decided to give them a call. A young lady answered the phone and told me I sent someone out there and no one was in the front of the store. I proceeded to tell her I was parked in a close spot to the front of the store. She told me well if your not in the loading zone then my workers can't bring you your order. I said okay yet I followed the instructions and it doesn't say to park in the loading zone but to park in a spot near the front. She went on to say with an attitude mind you that the employees don't have vests to go into the parking lot so I need to pull into the loading zone to get my order.
I can honestly see why this store is closing. Yet the gentleman that brought out my order was very nice. Some people really need to learn some manners!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Faye S.Sacramento, CA015Oct 29, 2020
I was in the store tonight to pick up business card magnets. I looked where I thought they would be, but no luck. I went to the customer service desk and asked where I could find them, and was told to go back to the aisle where I'd just been. Still no luck. I searched and found the item on my phone and went back to the customer service desk so that the lady would look them up by item number, but she just told me if I didn't see them, they were out. Both times she responded to me she asked for help from someone at the other end of her collar mic. There was no one to help on the floor. I was one of three people walking in circles trying to find items. I left the store, went to the parking lot, and ordered the item online with a one-hour pickup time. It was indeed available. I ran another errand and was notified it was ready and picked them up.
This was incredibly frustrating.
The fact that there was no one to help speaks volumes about what Staples think of customers trying to spend money in their store.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 25, 2015
My better half needed some of the old printer paper for work. We looked everywhere for the old dot matrix paper. We needed it asap so online ordering was ok, but we just needed one box to get by.
We found it here!! Yay!!!
This is a big store! It seemed like a ghost town due to almost an empty parking lot! More employees than actual customers. Walking in the store...it was nicely set up. Besides all the different office supplies I saw all kinds of Christmas presents and stocking stuffers. Pretty cool stuff like the Cross brand pen that was the Star Wars theme!!
Overall, the store was nicely stocked. All the employees took turns asking if we needed help. Everything was clean.
To have such a large store and it seems empty I hope they are doing a lot of online sales to keep them going!!!
I'll come back....Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dee De B.Sacramento, CA166352Jul 22, 2021

The store on Stockton blvd has exceptional service from the store clerks through the management. They did everything to meet my customer needs when I bought my last purchase there. And there home delivery is great too! This has now become my goto place for office supplies!

I was a little bummed by my experience here primarily because I was able to compare my experience with a competitor- Staples. Their self service printer/copier was down so it prolonged by stay at the store by needing to go through the associates. The quality of the paper in comparison to the standard paper used at staples was significantly lower. One of my papers that I requested a copy of in color didn't copy over properly and resulted in faded colors and an unreadable title. Unfortunately I didn't notice this until leaving and wasn't able to request a new copy. I was bummed and frankly wished I went to staples instead.

There service sucks, no one asks if you need help not even if you're standing there for a few minutes. They only gave 1 copy machine available and the person before me was printing what seemed to be a book. I asked if it was the only copy machine and they said yes. They didn't care to say they would make the 1 copy I needed had to wait about 30 mins to get what I needed.

Friendly employees... had to wait five minutes before paying, but there's willing to help with any questions. The price is not competitive unless it's on sale. Location can be busy by the freeway exit but parking lot is big
