North Shoe Repair

Great guy running a one man shop and does all sorts of shoe and leather repair. I hit him up on a whim to get an extra shine on my boots before my brother in laws wedding. He hooked me up while I waited. Obviously repairs might take a few days, he's got plenty of work waiting to be done. He's been there since the late 80's. Love being able to support the little guys.

It was great and so reasonably priced. I took 8 pairs shoes and boots and a bag on a Tuesday and job was completed by Friday. At check in he inspected each item and explained his process. Bill was much less than what I anticipated from initial conversation. He's now my shoe repair guy!

Was a little concerned I was wasting my time going to a shoe repair shop for my heavy leather jacket that needed a new zipper. Absolutely hit a home run with North Shoe Repair. Great owner, communication and value. Had jacket back in a week and a phenomenal job!! Thanks!

Finding someone that works with leather shoes and purses without having to ship them out is a miracle in and of itself and Ron's work is exceptional. I haven't brought anything to him that he hasn't been able to bring back to life.

There are so few cobblers around and I am so lucky to have found North Shoe Repair. I have been going to North Shoe Repair for at least the past five years and I really should have written a review sooner.

I have a favorite pair of knee high leather boots and I wore them all the time, even when they started to look too worn. I searched for months, and now for years, to find the same pair to replace my favorite boots. When I realized I couldn't find a suitable replacement, I looked for a cobbler and found North Shoe Repair on Yelp.

I brought my boots in for repair not knowing if it was possible to bring them back to life. I am happy to say that I couldn't believe how great they looked when I picked them up only a few days later. I thought I'd be able to get one more season out of them but I actually got three more seasons out of them!

I just brought them back, three years later, to see if they could be brought to life again...and I couldn't be more happy with the results!

Sadly, COVID has impacted so many of our lives and so many small businesses. I'd love if we could keep North Shoe Repair in business. Please shop local and support this amazing small business!

The best shoe repair shop around. I highly recommend him. I just picked up 9 pair, he did them right away. They came out beautiful. I travel over an hour from home.

The best cobbler I've found in the area. No matter what you ask or request Ron will strive to make you satisfied. Each time I've been excited to pick-up my shoes because I know they were treated with care and I was charged a fair price.

I originally came in to re-sole a pair of boots that had holes in the soles. Ron made some suggestions and we decided on a Vibram Morflex. He replaced the midsole as well and I was so satisfied the with the end result that I've had two other pairs of shoes re-soled with Ron (a pair of boots and a pair of loafers). He's also cleaned up some soft leather boots for me and even offered to fix an uneven wedge sole on a pair of work boots I have.
