Nelms Landscape & Sprinkler

This clown James is a no-show no-call....with a serious attitude problem. That's after *promising* to call if he gets delayed or needs to cancel. Already a deal-breaker. When I call 45" later ("Are you on your way?") he answers, "I CAN be." Lol. His phone sounds like something from the last century. When he finally comes he looks madder than a hornet. Not one word or even one second of eye contact. Not even "Sorry for forgetting the appointment." Spends less than one minute measuring width and length for a conrete patio, and that's the end of it. Don't have time for new customers, projects? Hate women? Don't schedule appointments with them. Byeeeee! ;-)

On Friday the feb 28th I Contacted Nelms Landscape to design my landscape and a quote for sprinkler install, I told him that lived in Delano and he explained it would be troublesome to come and do work, (Mind you per Facebook they've done work in 3 Rivers and Springville). We agreed that I would take measurements ,provide a plant list and photos of examples that I liked .. on Monday the 2nd of Feb I emailed my information and called to confirm they've received my email ... I texted and called several times to no avail ...voicemail full ... so called again Tuesday and nothing.. still couldn't leave messages. It's now Friday 6th no email no text back not even a call back... what really frustrates me is the website states "Locally owned and operated

As a veteran who supports local businesses nothing is more disheartening than a company that cannot follow through or even give a simple call back, text or email ... fellow Vets and Homeowners please steer clear of this business!

Larry Nelms and his crews are awesome. They poured about 12 yards of concrete in my back and side yards and also landscaped with plants, mulch, and irrigation around my entire back yard. It was very reasonably priced and looks great. After explaining that I've always had trouble getting enough water to some dying Redwood trees, he recommended and installed Netafim drip. I was skeptical as I'd tried various drip and other types of irrigation and a few of the trees were still dying and I was sure they were goners. He assured me it would work. Fast forward a couple months and the trees are thriving. He was 100% right about what to do and Netafim was the perfect solution. I'm so grateful to not lose those trees. Part of the back yard project included moving some sprinkler valves from the back/side to the front so the whole side yard could be poured and look clean. The crew accidentally cut my pool fill line as it was buried with the sprinkler valves. This wasn't discovered by me until weeks after the concrete was poured. After letting Larry know, he came out personally with a team of guys, cleanly cut a patch of concrete above the cut, repaired the line, and repaired the concrete. No hassle whatsoever.

Called him up and was able to come over quickly and get the work done efficiently. Very calm and professional. Would absolutely call him again for landscaping needs.

I had Nelms come by to help fix our sprinkler/watering timer system. They were very pleasant, friendly and professional and were done in no more than 30-35 minutes and had replaced our timer/ programmed it, fixed the wiring (there were some messed up connections), and made sure everything worked before leaving. Charged a very fair price.

Called for sprinkler service. terrible job! After they left, sprinklers hit the windows, the timers and days were off. I called and he said he would be back out that day but never showed up and cashed the check before I could put a stop on it. Would not recommend!

Great customer service and fast response. I had issues with my sprinkler pressure and the owner came right out and fixed it. Very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend

Awesome service.They came out to my house within an hour, got the leak stopped and water back to the house. Professional and extremely knowledgeable.
